    ...****. Still wide open for a WBC/Dirrell fight, it seems. Don't do it Eddie/Carl, a Bute fight would be huge in comparison.

    Messieurs Messier & Bédard, j'espère que vous savez qu'Eddie Hearn / Carl Froch considèrent présentement un combat pour la ceinture WBC qu'Andre Ward serait sur le point de délaisser, contre Anthony Dirrell. SVP, signez Bute-Froch pour le 12 mai à Manchester - la crédibilité de Lucian s'en porterait pas mal mieux, lui qui a une réputation de 'homer' dans la division (sans compter Ward). Ne laissez pas Froch prendre la route facile de la WBC!!!!!!!!!!!! -Un des grands fans de Lucian sur ESB

    -Mr Messier / Mr Bedard, I hope you're aware that Hearn & Froch are currently considering a fight for the WBC belt that Ward would apparently ditch, against Anthony Dirrell. Please, sign for Bute-Froch on May 12th in Manchester - Lucian's credibility would get that much better, since he has a stay-at-home fighter reputation (not counting Ward). Don't let Froch go the easy route with the WBC!!!!!!!!!!! -One of Lucian's biggest fans on ESB

    No way Froch would fight Dirrell instead of Bute. Especially since Bute is giving him a 50/50 split. No way in hell.

    Who said the 50/50 split was in effect in this one-fight deal?

    They said that for the potential 2-fight deal, which is off now.

    We don't know if the two fight deal is off. We just know that It will be In Manchester or Nottingham, and we also know Froch's camp is pushing hard for Nottingham. It will be a shame tho to find out that the venue was the only thing that kept the fight from being signet only to allow Dirrell to get in the middle of the party and break it.

    Oh I didn't know it was off. Why would Froch turn that down? He would make a lot of doe fighting Bute in Canada. Anyway even if they only fight in the UK you know most of the money would be generated by Froch so Bute will give him 50/50.

    Froch would have a better chance stopping the wild-looping-shot-throwing Dog, than Bute.


    Maybe Carl wants to make sure he's gonna impress UK peeps in his homecoming fight.


    FML. I'm still "at the ready" in regards to riots in response to a potential Bute-Stevenson announcement. :smoke

    If this happen... I dont want to hear any excuses for Bute! HE AND HIS TEAM are to blame for not landing a fight with Froch! Even the Bute fanboys must admit this!
