    You're trigger-happy.

We don't yet know what Eddie Hearn's reasons for choosing a Dirrell fight rather than a Bute fight, would be / are. If Interbox was asking for too much money, obviously I'm on board saying it was their fault. But you're jumping the ****in gun right now.

    I said IF

But I really just want to see Bute against the best, so I am getting frustrated now. Even though I have doubted all along that Bute would fight froch first in the UK.

Then you have your Entourage saying that Bute is the most avoided man in boxing, and I have no doubt that in the end when Bute fights Stevenson in Canada, the same people will say that Froch took the easy way out and ducked Bute. This is getting

Eeeeeeh, depends what comes out at both ends.

Jean Bédard is a pretty honest man (too weak at times), and Eddie usually tells it like it as well.

A Bute fight is more marketable than a fight vs Little Brother, however I bet Carl fills the arena regardless - both fights involve a belt.

Say Eddie goes "Bute priced himself out" and Bédard goes "Froch didn't respect Bute's champion status in purse negotiations", I'm inclined to think Froch's share vs Dirrell would be substantially higher than the share he was gonna get to fight Bute... implying a business "decision" on Carl's part.

However if the issue stems with the location of the fight (Manchester vs Nottingham), I'd blame it all on Interbox.

I dont want to hear excuses! If you are serious about fighting the best, then make the fights happen. Everyone else who matters in the division are able to land big fights, at some point even the Bute fanboys must wake up and realize something is wrong, other than everyone is ducking Bute.

But yeah I should calm down until something is official... If Froch-Bute is announced tomorrow I will look like a fool :bart

...speaking of which, Eddie Hearn will be live on Talksport in about 20 mins to talk boxing. Are you able to tune in to watch/report?

I can't, being on the wrong end of the pond. :D

Don't think Anthony Dirrell wants to travel to England ( +1 Bute).
Tony Dirrell is implying in his twitter Ward is ducking him, Ward is a tough opponent for Anthony while Froch isn't as tough; as long as they think they could get Froch in U.S of A. And why would Ward want to give up his belt that easily, he's not PBF neither in recognition or talent (at least yet)
And guys, think for a momment: is the word of any Dirrell that trustworthy?
I think Hearn and Froch are just trying to get more leverage

Yeah let's completely forget and disregard what this man has done so early in his career because of rumors.

Looking at your location, I'm not surprised of your idiotic post.

Anthony is medium risk very low reward, Bute is high risk very high reward. Easy choice.

I think Anthony would have no problem fighting Froch in the UK because he's not a big draw in the states. Also he always goes for the KO unlike his brother so he's not worried about getting robbed.

He's a Bute hater you brainless ****.

Anthony is high reward in that the fight would be for the WBC belt vacated by Ward (which is, again, according to Dirrell himself).

Anthony Dirrell is a prospect with not much of a fanbase, unlike his brother this one seems to got steel balls and a little more brain. He will go to UK because that's the only way he gets the title and there he'll get more money.
Out of the 3 belts WBA(Ward) IBF(Bute) vacant WBC (Froch) which one seems the easier route? also the quickest.

    Even so:
1 - is hard to get any American TV if the hour is not apropiate
2 - we don't know for sure Ward drops the WBC, why would he do that? If Ward is not fighting Bute next, the 2nd option is Kessler a WBC champion emeritus. WBC can delay the mando fight and let Ward fight their emeritus
3 - Tony Dirrell stoping Froch is not an easy task

Don't need American tv for Froch vs Anthony Dirrell to happen.

Kessler is fighting Stieglitz for the WBO belt, he's not WBC Emeritus anymore.

Froch liking his chances of stopping Anthony Dirrell might make a difference in terms of 'business decision'.

I think Bute should offer Anthony 50/50 for a fight in Canada in April. It will be a unification fight with the WBC vacant title on the line.

Put the pressure on Froch to take the deal.

This all seems a ploy by Ward to steal Froch away from Bute, knowing both Kessler and Steig are tied up, and ABraham is looking for the winner.:rofl

OMFG....somehow Ward always has a way of keeping Bute's LOC in check.

    The antichrsit is striking again.:-(
