    Forget Barkley's later runs at super middle and light heavy, and even heavy, but pit the Barkley from 85-88 against Tony Zale, from your preferred fight from 42-46 era. Two brutal body punchers, take no prisoners, guys not looking for points wins. 12 rounds, Trump Plaza, Mills Lane ref.

    Zale.. Every bit as tough and mean. More skillful. Ill take Zale late. Both men may never be quite the same again.

    I think that, at his best, Zale was better than Barkley. But, from what I have seen of him, his style plays to Barkley's strengths.

    Man what a match up. I don't know because Iran would not have to go looking for Zale but he might find more then he bargained for.
    Both have cement in their chins so I do not see an early stoppage.
    Really hard to pick but maybe Zale based on he had more quality wins but honestly I wouldn't bet on this fight.
