Anthony Fowler v Josh Kelly

Be a terrific fight. I would fancy Fowler to come from behind on point's to stop Kelly. Fowlers work rate and punch power would catch up with Kelly late. LMW is a terrific division domestically and at world level but i still think Fowler will end up a world champion.

 

Fowler stops him.

Had decent hopes for Kelly at 147 but I struggle to see how he does anything at 154. He’s going to have to really push on.

 

Do we know for certain Kelly is moving up?

 

He isn't. According to Adam Booth anyway.

 

Half of Kelly's pro fights have been at 154 anyway so it's not exactly "moving up"

 

6 of his 8 fights have been over 147lbs

So when is he moving up

Really can't take to Fowler. He seems to think cos he sparred him and looks slightly like him that he has Froch's ability/chin. Hope Fitzgerald sparks him

 

And if Fowler does get past Fitzgerald he will probably lose on points to Cheeseman and scream robbery

 

Well the question should have been.
Does he intend to fight at welterweight as he's been billed, and eventually fight for welterweight titles.
Is that a bit more specific?

 

Fowler’s work rate, desire and size gets the better of him. I’ve tried to like Fowler so much... and I do kind of. He talks to his fans, down to earth on social media, gives his all and says the right things but there just something about him that won’t make me invest emotionally with him. I don’t know, maybe it’s because he’s a south ender just don’t know. That didn’t stop me with his uncle Robbie though, so I just don’t know haha.

I’ll always back a Scouser but Fitzgerald comes across as a nicer lad and if the Smith derby happens the, North end Kirkdale Liam would be who I’d be backing!

Ps. Has to happen that, said it since Fowler turned pro, just has to, would be an absolute war!!

 

Fowler is the new Bellew, i.e. a total bell piece.

Knocked over some bums and he's going round acting like the dogs bollocks. I think Fitzgerald could flatten his television sized head.

 

Kelly would murder Fowler.
