DId any of you guys happen to see his fight on wednesday? He lost by split decision (bull**** robbery) but he showed a lot of heart in that fight. It didnt show as well that night, but that man has all the tools to be on top man. He is my sparring partner, and we have the same trainer, George James, and even that guys jab hurts like a *****! Trust me, keep an eye out for Anthony Gatt, he is going places
i liked that he was no afaid to open up and throw i think he threw like 125 130 punches in that last rd however when he steps up he is going to get dropped if he don't keep his hads up a little more when throwing hooks he throws them from his hip....but he def has heart
I'm not sure a 33 year old novice is the future of the division, but as the top American thread here showed, a few wins and he can be in the top ten of that thread. Seriously though, he seemed like he had some skills, and hopefully he can make some noise his few years he has in the game. Edit: Why didn't he fight in 2003 and 2005-2006?
I saw that fight after the Minto fight. Anthony Gatt threw an amazing amount of punches and frankly was robbed. He lost the first round but won the other three rounds and I scored the last round 10-8 if it was an eight rounder Emrick would have been stopped by Gatt.
Yeah, I found out the monday of that week he was taking the fight. He took it only a few days before. He also has a fight coming up on the 11th of this month
