He always shoots in like that even when he's having success on the feet. It's his comfort zone if he doesn't get a quick KO.

Dude has a good chin and a lot of power in his hands and legs, but he'll always be held back by his gas tank and his Cheick Kongo like cage IQ.

I'm fairly impressed, even if he didn't look like a world beater. I'd say 205 is his best fit. He seems to have cardio issues at every weight, though.

Marlon Moraes and Josh Burkman impressed me the most. Justin Gaethje looked pretty good for as long as his fight with Gesias lasted.

Paulo Fihlo didn't show up at all, to the surprise of no one. Arlovski/Rumble was a good fight, but neither looked overly impressive. Pretty sloppy fight.

Rumble looked decent first round, he thought he got the KO by the end of it. But yeah, he always looked uncomfortable striking and you get the impression he will always revert to type.

Moraes and Burkman, yeah they looked good. Didn't get to see much of Nam, that's a pretty bad loss for him. But Moraes is a beast, somuch power, very explosive.

Burkmann, really mmm. Gaethje could be promising.

His cardio isn't great but he also gassed against Vitor but what I was impressed with was his chin against a VERY hard hitting HW (Arlovski is the only guy to ko Nelson) and his technique against a very good (offensive) boxer he just walked Arlovski down and landed huge shots. He probably went for TDs because he was gassed if his cardio was better and he had a better gameplan he would have finished Arlovski. LHW is probably the best dvision for him but it was a good performance against a real HW

I thought it was a very good performance too from Johnson. But he's not a heavyweight. And you can see that from his performance and his poor conditioning. He's a LHW no question about that. But he owned AA for 2 rounds at least. AA has to be embarrassed with his performance though as he was getting hurt badly by a former welterweight. Equally though AA's conditioning was just as poor. Which was primarily from the amount of leather he ate.

That was very poor from AA, I actually thought he was underrated but these past couple fights proved me wrong.

He's never been underrated. Dudes chin is just horrendous. He was getting hurt repeatedly and was gassed by the second round. Shame as i like AA but his chin lets him down from being one of the best fighters at the top level.

There is a reason many reference AA when they talk about weak chins

HIs chin is his own kryptonite...it got broken into pieces by a former welter..

I have always liked arvlovski aswell , got more then enough tools as a heavyweight but the one thing u need more then anything when fighting amongst the big boys (decent chin) he just wasnt born with..

    It's like the size of a mans **** .. U either got it or u don't ..
He should retire . Surely he has made some good coin over his career .
