It seems to me that Johnson's huge size advantage was a lot of his game. I doubt Belfort, who has fought at much higher weights, will be too impressed. It's hard to know if Johnson's cardio will be way improved if he's not cutting all of that weight, but I don't see Belfort losing a striking battle and I don't see him getting taken down and out grappled. Tough first fight at 185 for Johnson.

This is actually a very interesting fight, Johnson is really getting thrown in the deep end.

 

Wow, this is a great fight between two devastating fighters. Rumble is a big guy who looks serious about his striking and wrestling being merged together. I thought he'd go for the Koscheck rematch because he could win that.

A fresher Rumble could be scary! If he plays his cards right he could become a serious contender for Silva but early days yet.

 

Uh, why is that? Belfort used to fight at heavyweight and Johnson's best attribute was always being way bigger than everyone else. I don't see any way Johnson takes this, short of a lucky punch.
