You seriously believe Furys depression was caused by Fury allegedly not being a big name post beating Wlad? I sincerely hope you do not, as you would be very wrong.

That`s what Fury said in his autobio, that he had reached the top but didn`t get the glory that he thought would come his way, he did also mention that his depression had reareed it`s head before but that training for the fight with Wlad kept his mind focused.

His star already eclipses Fury which is why Fury is jealous of him.

Tyson Fury speaks much, he has done so from very early days including about anxiety, OCD, depression, bipolar disorder etc etc, so if he indeed had depression post Wlad bout it was something he had a propensity for, the lack of supposed glory not being the cause.

I am unsure what more glory he expected, those who understand boxing for most part give him all the plaudits.
I am sure his public statements like when claimed he would hang his sister if he deemed her to be promiscuous, and saying he believes that “a woman’s best place is in the kitchen and on her back”, in addition to airing his views on homosexuality, abortion, zionism and other even more contentious issues do not aid him in being glorified by certain elements of society.

Well Fury was certainly making the headlines following his win, but I'm not sure having major British newspapers spearheading a campaign "to cancel" him within 2 months of winning the World titles was the kind of publicity he was hoping for.

Contrast that with GQ magazine in the same month doing a puff piece on Joshua touting him as the next British HW World Champion...

And just to be clear we hadn't even made it out of 2015 yet.

Fury only made headlines after making homophobic and racist comments, he was more known for his out of the ring antics than his fight with Wlad, most people in the UK didn`t even know he was the heavyweight champ at that point.
