Anthony Joshua "All The Sparring Knock Down Rumours Are Fake News"

    Anthony Joshua says all the sparring rumors from Dubois, Okolie, Joe Joyce's etc are all fake. Anthony Joshua has been rumoured to be dropped by pretty much every sparring partner but both him and his trainer have said all those claims are fake.

    Anthony Joshua claims other than Klitchko, the last time he was dropped was against Price 7 years ago when he was still an amateur and he had come out of a jail cell and went straight to spar Price who is known as a heavy puncher. He was also dropped in the amateurs but all other people sparring rumors are fake and he has never felt the reason to debunk them because he knows they are all fake and it gives his opponents hope that there is a weakness with him but when they fight him they'll realise thier game plan to KO him won't be as easy as they thought.

    He says Parker will be the one in for a rude awakening when he realises his gameplan to KO him isn't going to be as easy as they thought. He says no human can stop him now.

    I cant see it being fake tbh...I don't think AJ has a problem with pretending, considering the act he is pulling off at the moment !

    and what did they both do in an actual ring that matters again? oh yeah, one gets stopped on a regular basis by bang average fighters, and the other is one of the longest reigning heavyweight champions of all time....but at least Price (according to you, so probably a load of rubbish) hurt Joshua a bit more in sparring

    Joshua has a decent chin.
    But he's going to get KO'd sooner or later.

    Yeah that was one of the more interesting points in the presser.

    I don't think for a moment that Okolie dropped him. What sparring footage there was, looked like Joshua was taking it easy on Okolie and the size difference was immense, he was easily able to manhandle Okolie like he was a child. Okolie himself has refused to confirm or deny it.

    Dubois says he dropped him and clearly the rumour started from somewhere, apparently by people in AJ's gym, so I think he dropped him.

    Never heard he was dropped by Joyce, heard their sessions were heated, which I believe but nothing suggests he dropped him.

    Yeah I have my doubts about the Okolie knockdown, Okolie basically refused to confirm, and he's also a Matchroom fighter. Seems just a way to get some free publicity by starting the rumour.

    Agree that Dubois dropped Joshua, and never heard of Joyce dropping Joshua either.

    Where there is smoke, there is fire. That said, who gives a flying ****? IT HAPPENS. All the time for that matter. What type of sparring was it? Full go, light, isolation? Way too many variables involved.
