Anthony Joshua and Alexander Povetkin have been signed up for VADA drug testing

Silly thread, are people so ignorant of the WBA's own VADA mandatory testing program? It's just the same as the WBCs, only real difference is Joshua is in a country where if a boxer gets done for doping you get the book thrown at you instead of having your wrist slapped like in the US.

 

So whoever eats Mexican Cow balls from here on in gets thrown under the train....

 

If you know a thing or two about roids , if you done some , you know AJ is roiding. Maybe they all do, but it’s obvious Joshua is roiding.

 

I think all the top profile boxers ate getting that "extra" help one way or another.

Also I think it's quite clear that certain fighters get better treatment than others, especially the big money fighters.

He could be roiding, would not shock me at all if he one day gets caught. But until that day he's a clean fighter in theory just like every other fighter.

People look to his muscular physique and all assume he's roiding. If it was that simple to spot then why do we even bother with doing tests?

He could be natural, unlikely, but he could just be a genetic freak like that German cyclist with legs like tree trunks who has a genetic reason for easily putting on muscle.

 

And that drug testing means nothing,total psy op lol

 

Course they do,week in,week out we all sit here watching corrupt fights,corrupt judges and Refs and we all accept this to be the case so why would they suddenly be holier than though re PEDs and drug testing?
Do the top money earners get tested,probably,but they also probably get tipped off just like those Olympic athletes.

 

Yeah you'd have to be very niave to think any differently. Some countries are worse than others in this regard though.

We all know about Russia's doping issues, anyone else not surprised the Russian football team are doing so well during a world cup in their country, lol.

America too have a long history of doping scandals. How did Marion Jones never fail a test? We know Armstrong had adverse results that were hidden. Gatlin has failed tests how many times? RJJs test was buried for a couple of years.

Even the UK isn't perfect, though we did crucify Fury and Dwayne Chambers our top sprinter. Froome is now being done for doping but only after a lot of media attention made it something you couldn't sweep under the carpet. Find it hard to believe people didn't know before. Even Farah has a cloud of suspicion around him but we all pretend in the UK that nothing happened.

 

Why?

Because he has a good physique?

If he entered a NATURAL physique contest where they are all tested he'd come dead last.

He has a very achieveable physique (which pie and chips eaters will struggle to get their heads round) and none of the obvious tells of steroid abuse.

 

People who don't think that physique is possible clean probably never lifted a weight in their lives and if they did never put in the work. You only have to look at bodybuilders of the past and I am talking pre steroids which came about in the 1930's. Some of those guaranteed natural guys were fricken built like tanks.

 

i have come to realise that about 80% of ESB have never stepped inside a gym or boxing ring.

Joshua is built yes but his physique is very achievable and manageable if you are disciplined and determined (world champion boxer).

a lot of jealous man-children on the internet and they won't even admit their envy/ignorance.

 

its really not, if your life is based on something so physically demanding. I live and work in Thailand, I go to a lot of the gyms and rings here, seen steroids all over the place and how easy it is to get them. I also know some of the local Muay Thai guys and some of them (albeit a lot shorter) are utter units and live cleanly.

Just saying that not every person in good shape is cheating - in fact some would be very offended to even suggest it.
