Boy, you guys really do live on an island, don't you?

People in China know who he is.

If you ever get a chance to watch the ESPN documentary on Miller, it's pretty great.

You from UK so don’t worry about it, stick to the regional sports like rugby and cricket .Globally Reggie is better known than joshua.

People in China are big into Ping Pong, so I wouldn't get too excited.

I doubt Reggie Miller, whoever he is, is well known outside America. Although many people in America, much like yourself, seem to know little of the world outside it.

Lol, I’m not from the UK. I was born in Minneapolis though I did spent most of my childhood in Hong Kong which used to be a uk colony.

Add that to the list of what Americans don't know: They can't find Iran on a map. They don't know where Chile is ("Wait that's some Mexican dish isn't it!"). They think the Soviet Union still exists.

So I wouldn't really base too much on the fact Americans haven't heard of (let alone can spell!) AJ's name correctly. Half of the US would fail a 6th-grade spelling test.

What you Yanks have to understand is that like 80% of our best HW prospects get picked for Morris Dancing state-programmes.

if they fight, it should be in a neutral country with neutral judges and refs. but then neither fighter would make squat. so they have to decide which guy is going to get screwed on a decision in the others home country(should it go 12).

the point of the thread is almost no americans care about boxing. most couldn't name one active fighter. if they don't know who joshua is at an nba game, imagine at an nhl, mlb, nascar, atp or wta event.
