Joshua was on top, dropped him, had him in bother and Ruiz pulled out a miracle in the following exchange

I give Ruiz a good chance but to say Joshua ‘can’t beat him’ is absolutely ridiculous

Joshua's gonna knock Ruiz out within 5 rounds. He will find the way to protect better that wretched chin then his power and his wounded pride will do the rest.

Joshua has the reach and height advantage. It should play out like the Parker v Joshua fight.

What will Joshua punch resistance be like, for me that's the question if it's as bad as the first Ruiz fight then I dont see Joshua winning against any decent HW.

Dont actually think his punch resistance is that bad, I actually think it's his stamina causing his inability to recover.

He wasn't gassed out in the first Ruiz fight tho. Ok the shot landed on his temple but we've seen Joshua take better shots and come back. Maybe he's at the point where he cant take any big hit. It happens

He was breathing fairly heavily after the first round and got slower and slower on his feet from there on I thought, his movement became practically non existent. He wasn't exhausted to the same point he was in round 5 against Klitschko, but he was blowing way harder than he should have been.

Blowing hard after the first round! I didn't notice that. He can fix his stamina but if his chin is that fragile then its going to be hard for him to have any real impact moving forward with his career

Yeah he was breathing a lot heavier than he should have been from the get go.

I dont think his chin is actually that bad, he took some BIG shots from Klitschko even early on, with seemingly no effect, but after emptying the tank in round 5 got hurt then eventually put down. He got up fine all things considered, but I think his lacking stamina put the brakes on a quick recovery.

It reminded me of Froch being decked hard by Groves, looking a bit shaky when he got up, but clear of mind but the body was shook. Froch however has amazing stamina and recovers almost instantly, but Joshua needed rounds to get his legs under him. I guess we'll find out soon enough if the major (at least major looking) weight drop yields any positive results.

I don't expect jabs to stop Ruiz. Where did you get that?

The jabs are going to stop him getting into range where he can do his best work.

If you were on ignore I wouldn't have seen your post or responded to it.

I've always rated Andy's skills, but questioned his dedication to the craft. I think that's a reasonable stance to take.

He will eat those jabs and still keep on coming forward. Joshua isn't someone with a constant piston jab like Holmes.

His jab was good enough to deter Parker, and Parker's jab was good enough to deter Ruiz, when he used it.

I’d say ignorant is a better word.
