Anthony Joshua could face Dillian Whyte in undisputed fight, if Tyson Fury doesn’t fulfil WBC title defence, says Eddie Hearn.
Hearn said Fury will be stripped of the WBC title and then Whyte will be declard champ and then AJ would meet Whyte for all the titles because all AJ is interested in, is becoming undisputed champ, he doesn`t care who he has to beat to achieve this.

What is it with all the governing bodies wanting to strip Tyson Fury if he doesn't fight his mandatory Immediately, first the IBF and now the WBC. Although I think Eddie is talking out of his arse on this one.

Not a good look for Joshua. It would be the second time he fought a patsy for a title Fury abdicated (with Fury himself having beaten a better fighter to win it both times).
An undisputed title wasn't that important to his team when negotiations fizzled with Wilder, so why does he care so much about it now that a Fury fight is possible to make?

I think this is all about two things, hype and leverage. The hype part is obvious. Eddie Hearn is a master at keeping these conversations bubbling, keeping his fighters in mix, making sure that all those free column inches and minutes of airtime are helping to build his guys.

The second part is more interesting. Whyte has leverage via the WBC mandatory position. Matchroom has leverage by having two of its fighters fight for all the HW belts, with Usyk waiting for the winner. Other than ever helpful WBO, first to be dropped I predict by an undispituted champ, that would be a series of top HW fights taking place via Matchroom. They can use the February deadline to get stepaside money for DW as well as a contractual obligation for the winner to face him. Or use that in turn as leverage on the negotiations.

Fury has leverage of his own though. Do WBC make him franchise champion rather than stripping him outright? He has the RING belt also as well as his claim to be lineal champion. If he walks away to fight some Top Rank stiffs there will still be plenty who say he's the man until AJ or a n other take it off him in the ring.

Yeah perhaps but Tyson proved alot more than Joshua. Guys like Takam Parker and Ruiz don't have him on his backfoot for 12 rounds

Wilder got a boner thinking he'd be able to unify against Ruiz

AJ would get a boner thinking he'd be able to unify without fighting Fury

All roads lead to Fury. The WBC will make sure Fury holds that belt unless he loses it in the ring.

Tyson would have beat those guys far more impressively than AJ beat them, however Ruz is better than anyone Tyson ever beat.

54 year old Larry Holmes would have schooled all of the bodybuilder Joshua's opponents, same as he did with Butterbean!

AJ is better in every department compared to butterbean, no way could a 54 year old Holmes win a gold medal at the olympics.

Gotta remember that by the time any possible Fury vs Joshua fight takes place Joshua would have had to make make mandos of all his titles (one would assume).... Can see uncle Bob playing head **** with Hearn here and driving a hard deal with Pulev and signing up high ranked WBA contenders to gain some leverage...

... Dare say Hearn has over played his hand

Usyk will prove a tougher task than Pulev, AJ is a lot better than the 38 year old Pulev, he was never that good.
