Eddie Hearn said it shouldn't be a problem, but I can't remember where I read that mate. If the fight doesn't happen though, I expect Frank Warren and Fury to use this as the reason
Sounds like they have been planning Charr as a stand in for a while now: From Charr's social media a few days ago "I promise you on December 3, I will smash your pretty face you big dosser. I will focus on this green and gold belt coming home." Make of that what you will... Edit: strangely I can't seem to find the original post on instagram
there's a good chance DAZN don't want this fight at all right now they have AJ coming off 2 losses they lost out to SKY in Usyk-AJ 2 they are faced with AJ willing to go in with another man who is favoured to beat him this is not the multi-year multi-fight plan they had envisaged when they signed AJ they are still trying to build themselves into the top PPV platform but DAZN are unproven PPV platform compared to what SKY did with AJ they might turn out to be roadblock here i really hope not
I understand the old tried and true "work your way up the rankings" method, but honestly, truly, is there more than 2 possibly 3 guys better than Wilder even coming off back to back loses? I'm more bothered by Aj debuting at #6. Fans are weird af, claim they want to see the best fight the best, then moan when the sanctioning bodies finally do something that isn't brain dead with the rankings to facilitate these matchups lol.
