Usyk is ready for any version of Joshua and Joshua is not ready for Usyk, I can only see another defeat of Joshua...

 

He's obviously lying to himself to cope with the defeat of the first fight. Boxers after a defeat often lie to themselves and come up with excuses we see it all the time, blaming an injury, the ref, the judges, etc. Reality is boxing is a dangerous sport and going in again with a fighter that schooled you first time, you have to have some kind of confidence going in again even if it's based on lies otherwise you're going in knowing your about to take a beating and no sensible person does that.

It's a bad look for AJ coming in for the rematch. It's one thing to blame it on a bad strategy but to say there was no strategy and there never has been is a stretch beyond reason. While it's not as bad as some excuses go for a loss like Wilder blaming it on a gypsy curse, loaded gloves, his own coach, etc it's still a poor excuse.

He's a good boxer and has power to go along with skill.

He simply isn't on Fury or Usyk's level in terms of ability.

But he's probably #3 in the world right now. #2 if Fury is truly retired.

How come he boxed differently for Ruiz 2 compared to Ruiz 1? Wasn't his 'masterclass' in the rematch down to a different game plan? Didn't he say he'd trained differently for that fight, came in lighter so he could be more mobile? How could such an obvious adjustment from how he trained to how he fought just be down to 'raw ability'?

So he claims he has no game plan, I’m assuming to make him feel more comfortable about his loss, then admits that his game plan that he had against Usyk was wrong, immediately contradicting himself. Then he tells people (and Usyk) what his strategy is for their next fight lol, so Usyk knows exactly what to expect next time.

 

He's subtly throwing Rob McCracken under the bus here.
