Chins are best graded when they are hit flush. Joshua can't take heavy blows. He was down by some no name early in his career.

Headgear can help a little. It's extra padding, and weight, which helps to mitigate the " snap " of a punch.

Like Izaak97 a knowledgeable guy says he had only been boxing 1 or 2 years and was competing at elite world level. He did not at this time have a elite defence and only got to this position due to his athleticism and power.
