    Oh the irony!

Fury is a quality opponent who has been way too much for Wilder.

The ONLY way that fighting Fury improves Wilders resume AT ALL is if he somehow wins the third fight... Which, qualifiers about the equalizer aside, very few serious observers expect to happen - it's not impossible, but it's unlikely.

If Fury wins again, Wilder comes out of it thrice humiliated and with his best win still being Luis Ortiz, which means his resume continues to be worse than the likes of Whyte and Ruiz.

Hagler thought Leonard was a cherry pick in 86. Bowe thought Golota was a cherry pick in '96. Tyson thought Holyfield was a cherry pick in 96.

I have been on this board a long time, I never heard anyone say Tyson or Hagler get no credit for fighting those guys because they thought they'd be easy wins. Hell, Hagler didn't even fight Leonard again. He lost and quit. Tyson fought Holyfield again, and lost again. Did he think Evander was going to be a cherry pick in fight 2? No.

The venom you guys spit at Wilder over this is bizarre, to say the least.

If that's all you've got (that Wilder thought Fury would be easy ... and he found out in fight 1 HE WASN'T) ... then we're done.

You didn’t just compare Wilder with Marvin Hagler and Mike Tyson did you!

Do I need to point out the glaringly obvious difference?

    Yes, you do.

But there's no point, it's too complicated for him

Neither Tyson nor Bowe thought Holy or Golota was a cherry pick... GTFO with that. The arrogance of posters here to actually believe they know what a boxer was thinking...based on a nothing more than a guess.

Everyone ALIVE following the sport at that time knows those guys were cherry picks gone wrong. Hell, Holyfield was coming off the Bowe TKO loss and the Czyz fight, had a reported bad heart, and opened as a 25-1 underdog.

I am officially finished with you. Bye.

AH, life is better when you take out the trash.

The Clan, BubblesUK and The Real Lance ... no longer appear. :yaay

Just checked the ignore list and had to delete about 10 names, who were all banned later, apparently.

Nice to see I'm not the only person who can spot the looney.

You know that wasn't a real offer, as we all do.

Wilder confirmed that it was a real contract of 100 mil and he turned it down.

No, they weren't cherry picks... And you think so because of coming off a loss?? Good lord.... one loss and a fighter is ruined, right? Thank god no one serious thinks the way you do. Just typical fanboy nonsense...

If you know you can't beat them, block them...

Dubblechins approach to forum etiquette mirrors Wilders approach to contenders - you have to admire that level of dedication to his love interest favourite fighter.

Wilder’s so openly scared of AJ it’s laughable. If he beats Fury the closest thing he’s gonna get is Ruiz. He can’t even get in the ring with Whyte. **** Wilder sucks:lol:

So as far as I can tell Wilders biggest current win is just actually fighting Tyson Fury (the best fighter in the game apparently (LOL @ that one)), he hasn’t beaten him as yet but he has taken part.

    That’s MASSIVE!

This comment bears absolutely no resemblance to reality.

Leave aside for now that any HW can lose, & even the single undefeated one Marciano retired young & got a gift decision against a fighter with a super mediocre record, hands tied by the mob, 5' 10" & warned for passivity Ted Lowry...

You are completely uninformed about bodybuilding.
Joshua lifted weights, he was never a competitive bodybuilder.
At his heaviest weigh in he was I believe 254 lbs. At 6' 6" tall.
And in later fights was in the 230's!

Ronnie Coleman used to compete-at lower body fat & under 6", weighed up to 300 lbs.
No pro bodybuilder could be remotely competitive with as little muscle mass per square inch as Joshua.
    In part due to PEDs.

Look at each at their competitive peak; they look like practically different species.
Your bias is extreme indeed, & blinding you the the broad parameters of reality.
