My only point was in direct reply to you saying "Schwarz was a pathetic opponent for Fury, no where near Ruiz level. And Fury arse lickers need to admit that".

I think you are both misrepresenting what I actually was debating. I haven't seen people failing to admit Schwarz was a poor opponent, that's my point.

Most regular posters on here who are Fury fans such as Twentyman, HattonMad etc have been very consistent in saying Schwarz isn't up to much.

People always get carried away when momentum in boxing shifts as it has done the past couple of weeks; but I wasn't actually debating anyone on that.

The guy who ducked Wilder, talking about the guy who fought Wilder. LOL

Well personally I can't see how both our points reconcile, if I am seeing threads like that following Schwarz vs Fury, then

How can everyone agree Schwarz is poor but then create threads like those?? Clearly that performance has elevated Fury's standing as if he had just fought an ATG.

It doesn't fit your narrative of "I haven't seen anyone NOT admit Schwarz is a poor opponent".

In fairness I think a couple of those threads were started by Mark Ant so I don't really register those ones!

I think people always go overboard after fights - talking about Joshua being 'finished' last week, now Tyson is flavour of the month. I can see why you'd link the two - but I really was just debating the notion that people were suggesting Schwarz was equal to/better than Ruiz because I haven't seen it.

No worries as long as we are all in agreement in our view towards Schwarz and Ruiz.

Anthony Joshua is an easy opponent for a top 10 fighter under 35.

    Fury fought Wlad & Wilder

Fury has fought in 6 different countries in 24 different stadiums

AJ is wrapped in cotton wool.

Yep totally - Schwarz is totally mediocre and I was completely underwhelmed when it was announced. I thought Ruiz was a good level for a stand-in for Joshua considering the circumstances, didn't think he'd win though.

AJ has Ruiz Jr. in front of him. By all accounts a fairly average and easy fight for him if AJ is an elite HW.

Big stiff Joshua could go fight bums from now up right up to fight no 39, and he'd still have a better resume than Wilder lol

Maybe AJ should drop Hearn and get with Finkel..

Someone remind me of what Finkel said about Wilder when Wlad came knocking? something to do with a baby?? lol

Wilder has a case for four. Fury, Stiverne, and Ortiz were universally ranked. Brezeale was in many top ten lists.

In Joshua's case, Whyte and Takam were unranked. Charles Martin was ranked though and Wlad was obviously top ten h2h.
