Yes, being 2x world champion is better than 1x. Isnt it? you are sooo lucky that Ruiz smashed your head with no mercy, joshua, what a lucky boy!.

Come on, don't run away, go and accept the rematch. Maybe you are lucky again and your head is smashed again! 2x smashed head!! wow, 2x has to be better than 1x, isnt it. Good luck!

Well, to give you an idea, when Joshua was in Nigeria, they held a Q&A session and a little girl asked him, "Why don't you fight in Nigeria, since you're Nigerian?" Joshua did not answer: he simply chuckled nervously, with a member of his team shut the issue down while very swiftly moving the discussion on to something else. Joshua portrays a veneer of representing his Nigerian heritage and caring about the people of Nigeria; but I believe this is nothing more than a PR stunt on the part of Joshua and his team. This is a manifestation of a disingenuous nature.

Lewis is too in love with himself to talk about anything but himself plus he’s always hated Joshua.

I agree with what David Haye has been saying....Joshua needs to make sure he has TOUGH sparring

however you need to have super strong mentality to go through the kind of sparring where you may lose a **** load of rounds coming to terms with what you need to do come fight night.

AJ can win......but we do not know if he can adapt well enough to nullify Ruiz's threats.
thus is what so many people ignored before the first fight......
AJ being world champ ( forgetting he won against a useless Charles Martin, defending against a useless Brazealle, and wins against old Vlad and Povetkin probably massively overrated whilst still respectable )

however Ruiz amateur experience was ignored by many, and he only ever lost a close decision on away soil and he never had the opportunities that AJ had at the same stage of his career

But Ruiz amateur record should count for a lot

Rumor has it that Joshua was KTFO in sparring for the first Ruiz fight.

You can’t get any tougher sparring than that.

He may pick up a title again if one becomes available, but as long as Ruiz and Wilder are champs he's not going to be the man at HW.

Shouldn't be celebrating something he hasn't achieved yet. IMO that victory lap before he got in the ring with Wlad had an impact on that fight. Imagine how much energy he expelled with that performance that he could have used during the fight.

Ruiz is tough.........MENTALLY. Joshua..........NOT. Of course, he can win the belts back. At his age, very few people change internally, the dye is set. Mental patterns have been established. Why do so many people say, read "fighters", that boxing is 90% mental? Answer....because it is. Yes, you need to do all the road work, calisthenics, bag work, sparring ad infinitum. Cover all bases. The old saying "it is the size of the fight in the dog, not the size of the dog in the fight that matters" says a lot. Joshua is a big dog....maybe he doesn't have much fight in him. When I saw Ruiz fight Dveryenchenko (sorry for the spelling), I saw a fat man with skills and a "never quit, never die" attitude. If Joshua manages to beat him in a rematch he gets my respect. Until then he is just an over rated weight lifter that was in the right place at the right time. Choo, choo....the town of gatekeeper up ahead.

AJ has been eating Milky ways to bulk up for Ruiz. Use your enemy's weapon against them.

Huge mistake though, the protein from the peanuts are where Ruiz gathers his true Strength. Mcracken thinks removing the Nougat & extra Carmel will keep Aj leaner.

If Joshua comes at Ruiz like that he will be knocked out in the first round. Ruiz would kove Joshua to charge him like that because that is Ruiz's fight. Ruiz took Joshua's full for e right hand and didn't see all of them coming. Ruiz probably has the best chin in boxing right now. Joshua's only chance is to box Ruiz from the outside and tie him up at all cost. Kinda like Wlad fought like a coward. But Joshua has a egg chin just like Wlad. Their is not a damn thing Joshua can do to fix that chin and his bad recovery skills.Joshua needs to come inro this fight around 230 to help his stamina. To me this fight has Price vs. Thompson 2 written all over it. I this Joshua will win the first half by out boxing Ruiz. But if Ruiz is able to land some body shots Joshua is going to be tired and end up getting caught again. I really would like to see Joshua win but Ruiz is going to land punches at some point and Joshua cannot handle Ruiz's power and speed. I think Joshua is the next David Price. Joshua the hype job has been exposed. Ruiz could not believe how easy it was to stop Joshua. Like Wlad Joshua does not have Steward to save his ass. But Joshua does not know how to use his size like Wlad did. Joshua is just not a smart of a fighter as Wlad. Joshua is just another UK hype job. I would not be surprised if Ruiz stops Joshua in the first round. And i got news for you all Ruiz is a big threat to Wilder as well. I think Ruiz can take Wilders power and if he can Wilder's fate will be the same as Joshua's.

If he wasnt goint right back at Ruiz, I think hed have a great shot at it. But also, due to the nature of boxing politics, and how meaningless acquiring trinkets can sometimes be, it wouldnt completely suprise me if he does become a title holder again should he lose to Ruiz again.

But... given that hes rematching a fighter I feel has his number to a degree... and that I do think he likely loses the rematch, and, if he does, the effort he put in, and the heights he had to rise to in order to be at his best to face his conqueror, only to once again get beaten down... will be the type of loss I am not sure he bounces back from.

    Hope he proves me wrong.

Just read that choice of venues are either New York or Cardiff lol.
Maybe he could look to Lennox for inspiration but truth is Lennox didn't gass out after four rounds.
