Anthony Joshua in 2020, what fights will he be in ?

That really doesn't bother me and I dont really understand why it does other people. Too many fans talk like promoters, just get him in there, let's see just how great he is. Usyk could lose and his stock still goes up.

Who would call him that? You after Joshua battered him probably.

I’m not saying Joshua would batter him. Just that the narrative changes after the fight. Look at the usual faces this past week. Ruiz has gone from a lightning handed puncher who can take Joshua’s power (and who’s power Joshua cannot take) who will destroy him once again to a fat chancer.

 

I'm not a fanboy like that. I just TRY and say things how I see them. I dont care about narratives and other ****. It's all about 2 guys boxing and everything else is just bells and whistles to me. I've actually got off social media completely now due to all the nonsense that people talk and I found at times I couldn't resist a bite!

I was never sold on Ruiz. Before the first fight I thought he would be an easy nights work and from what I saw of the last fight he was truly woeful but still have to give Joshua props for how he changed up a bit. Ruiz now goes back to fighting bums.

I want to see AJ fight Usyk next if it's not Wilder or Fury. It's that simple really. Literally have no interest in any other fight for Joshua. Maybe the Whyte rematch too but that's a stretch.

 

Well, I’d like to see him fight Usyk too, but if he fights him next and wipes him out we all know plenty will say Usyk wasn’t cut out for the seriously big boys at heavyweight.

There’s no rush. Pulev’s a mandatory, get that out of the way as it’s got to happen, allow Usyk to starch someone like Chisora and we have the big fight next.

 

Who cares what people say? Real boxing fans know he is class and has shown he can handle big guys in the ams, obviously different.

Joshua would get all the credit in the world if he can beat Usyk. Maybe these guys are too long for him but I want to find out. Fighting Chisora still won't prepare Usyk for the big 3 but I do get your point.

Just feels like a wasted camp for both, more so Joshua, if they do turn out to be their next fights.

Agree. Whyte will be on the phone to fast Eddie on the hour, every hour. If he doesn't get a date soon, I can see him spitting the dummy and going to Haymon which would open the door for a crack at Wilder / Fury.

 

Fast Eddie has got Usyk hasn't he ? He'll stand him aside next year, give him a couple of relatively easy ones. Chisora looks like a shout and maybe defrost dear old David Price for a look good KO for Usyk and farewell purse for Pricey.

 

He will fight Pulev and Ko him in 6 or 7.

Then it will Usyk (depending on injury) or Whyte.

 

It's been much debated on here, but he did ask for $50m to fight Wilder in the States before back-pedalling.
Hearn said AJ wasn't ready for Fury when Fury won the title. AJ called out Fury during his exile but not since his return.
I'd love to be proved wrong but I don't think AJ will fight either of them.

 

Correct mate - he will not fight any live opponent including Wilder, Fury, Usyk, Joyce, Dubois or Bakole.

His two 2020 fights will be from Pudding Pulev, Pudding Whyte , Pudding Parker , Pudding Chisora then off he sails into the sunset with his PPV loot.
