He either bulks up to KO his opponent’s and sacrifices his stamina or he comes in lighter like the Ruiz rematch but loses his KO power When he bulks up his stamina is pathetic and once he gasses he takes 2-3 rounds to recover but the worst bit is he still doesn’t even hit that hard evidence in point :- 1. Took 11 rounds to KO Wladimir Klitschko who it is well known always had a bad chin and he couldn’t do it with one punch it took him several 4-5 punch combinations and 41 year old wlad still finished on his feet 2. Couldn’t KO Takam despite landing numerous combinations on him for many rounds yet Chisora who is not a noted puncher knocked Takam out with 1 punch 3. had Pulev finished in the 3rd round yet due to his very embarrassing loss to Ruiz was too scared to finished Pulev off even though 40 year old Pulev was barely any threat at all when he improved his stamina and tactics against Ruiz in the rematch it was clear he was scared and had lost his punching power to gain the stamina to stick and move for 12 rounds it’s bizarre he either bulks up and has terrible stamina but it’s a gamble because even at 255 pounds he doesn’t hit that hard or he comes in at 235 with decent stamina but can’t knock his opponents out it’s as clear as day anthony Joshua is a flawed design
Youre basing his lack of KO power on... a single fight... against someone never before KO'd, in a fight against someone he felt he had to be ultra cautious against so spent the fight defensively. You have no idea if a trim AJ wouldnt stop a normal opponent or if a hulking AJ could stop Ruiz. Your premise is whats flawed.
AJ could come up with a cure for Covid and there would still be guys like you on here saying he should have done better hahahahh. Fury taking steroids, faking mental illness and somehow being considered #1 is a flawed design if you ask me
aj and canelo are the most ped enhanced boxers in the sport today but due to aj’s design flaw he either bulks up and has no stamina or cuts weight and uses his stamina to run like a frightened kid even against Pulev you could see it in his eyes the fear of getting sparked again even when he bulks with his sky sports provided roids he can’t achieve 1 punch KO power
Riiight but he gets tested all year round and has never failed a test. Yet Nandrolone Fury gets caught and you guys never bring it up. Instead you call him the best hahahahaha
The only fight he seemed to lack any power was the Parker fight. Problem with Joshua is he's reliant on his uppercuts. He had real problems landing them on Ruiz and was stuck to long range jabs. He pushes with his long range punches. Their not as devastating as they should be.
You are right up to a point but all this bulking up and then losing weight means nothing, he needs to improve his craft and fundamentals.
Parker backed off all night and usev a quick counter jab to keep AJ off, it was a pretty bad performance by both men, Mike Tyson would have count the ring off and countered Parker`s jab, AJ just isn`t at tat level yet and McCracken s no Rooney and AJ is no Holmes, AJ is just a good figter not a great fighter, I don`t care abut his power as much a others do.
AJ had to lose the weight to beat Ruiz because when he was bigger he was out-sped by Ruiz who has quick hands, AJ had to lose the weight to improve his footspeed, if he tried to KO Ruiz again he would have been countered again and KO`d, Ruiz displayed a better chin than AJ in their first clash and bounced straight up after being flawed completely unfazed while AJ fell apart after he came rushing in for the kill and getting caught by a counter hook.
There`s no way the producers at sky sports no anything about roids for God`s sake, this isn`t a James Bond movie or the WWE.
