He’s lumping around a body for 12 rounds his heart isn’t designed for. Legs and arms are from a weightlifter, his shoulders are small, it’s ott with bulking up
He has a heart problem when hurt, it took him 3 rounds of not getting caught to recover from the Whyte shot, Wlad was an OAP swinging like mad or Joshua would’ve gotten wlad’d Before Ruiz Ruiz’d him
The only thing is, AJ took a shot to the temple. Getting cracked on the chin and struggling, you'd be right to ask questions. But he got caught on the temple. He was scrambled from that moment on, any fighter punched by a heavyweight on the temple will be done. Notice AJ getting cracked on the chin against Wlad, completely different reaction.
He's fantastic at beating 40 year old midgets who stand in front of him. But when he fights a man who has been born generations too early and is the first of his kind as the best heavyweight of all time Tyson Fury then he will look like a bum.
He is good but his resume so called " marquee wins " are geriartric and too predictable fights. It is what it is, confirmed when he fought Pulev not Usyk. Might had took Usyk and then this at least younger than Pulev. No? Sure. Otherwise maybe Whyte vs Povetkin, guy appeared not enough old for A side fighter.
I figure Fury probably beats Joshua. Would pick Joshua today against anyone else, but he does have vulnerabilities. That's ok. Makes it exciting if he's in with a puncher.
Even though I don't agree with most of the author's points I do agree that Joshua seems to gas easy when he's fully pumped but then loses his power when trimmed down. I've no problem with the way he beat Ruiz in the 2nd fight. Props to him for having a devastating loss and getting straight back in the ring and winning a one sided fight. He might have been cautious but so would anyone else have been after that first massive upset. I've always thought Joshua was very heavy handed and when he came in massive and went for it he looked like he could smash anyone (if he didn't gas out beforehand). But in his last fight with Pulev he didn't seem to have massive power with his new trimmed down physique. I know Pulev is tough but I lost count of the number of uppercuts Joshua hit him with throughout the fight until he finally got him out of there. I can't see Joshua beating Fury. His best chance for me would have to gone in there massive in beast mode and try to smash fury before he gassed. However I can see him going into the fight trim and try to box fury which I can't see him pulling off
Bulking up doesn't generate power, technique does. If he was smart, he should get leaner, build up his stamina and work on his technique.
Right, but my point is, most fight fans now act as if Fury is some unbeatable KO monster based off the Wilder fight and they've forgotten every fight before that one. And on the flip side AJ is now only remembered for the first Ruiz fight and not for all the rest of his fights. AJ has been fighting top guys for years now consistently whereas Fury has fought mostly bums and gatekeepers if you set aside an older Klitschko and an overrated Wilder. Compare the last 5 opponents for each and you will see a vast difference. And there has been no reason for Fury to avoid the better fighters yet he has, and he has gotten away with it without being called out for it. AJ pitched a shutout in the Ruiz rematch to the point it not being a fight at all. Fury has never defended a belt and he has been busted for steroids. When/if they fight, Fury will be humbled worse than Wilder has, I guarantee it
So you support a PEDs cheat? And do you think it's ok that he has not fought most of the top 30 in the world nor has he fought almost any of the top 15 in the WBC rankings?
