    Called good marketing.

Dubious will chin him and end this hypejob once and for all.

AJ has had a silver spoon his entire career.

    Gifted gold
Bought his first belt off Charlie Martini (stripped IBF belt which is non legit anymore)
Got handed another set of belts almost getting chinned by out of retirement Wlad
Got spunked over by a little fatman on 2 weeks notice, then had the absolute cheek to boast about becoming a 2x champion by winning the rematch against a straight out of McDonalds money straight to his head Ruiz
Then gets slapped by Usyk and throws one of the best tantrums we've ever seen
Now he gets another shot at that IBF belt AGAIN which no longer holds any legitimacy against Duibous. If he beats Dubious which he has a 50% chance of doing then he will run around that ring claiming he is Muhammad Ali and a 3x champion. LOL.

Mostly Fury fans who are trying to denigrate Joshua. They are terrified Joshua will easily stop Fury.

I am not worried about anyone, I'm not fighting them. I don't give a damn about AJ, but you are terrified he would destroy Fury's already pathetic career.

Prime? Possible - at very least it'd be competitive.

Since returning from his coke binge/retirement? Nah, at best it'd be competitive but his reliance on leaning would've worked as well as it did against Ngannou and he'd have eaten something big at some point.

Fury's a lot more overhyped than Joshua.

I very much doubt Dubois will beat Joshua but i will hold up my hands if he does. I look forward to you giving AJ his dues if he wins

You are aware that he was due to face someone in the top 10 and that Helenius was a late replacement right?
Getting another top 10 opponent at such late notice isn't always easy and he did face a top 10 rated opponent in the very fight after and it's not like he was a champion defending a title

    As a late replacement?

It's rarely a good idea - and that's if you can even persuade those guys to take the fight on short notice.

Loads of examples of fighters taking quality fighters as late replacements and either struggling or losing when they shouldn't... Lewis found Vitali difficult, Joshua lost to Ruiz, etc.

And even big money (very comfortably career high payday) on the table wouldn't persuade Luis Ortiz to fight Joshua.

Not saying Helenius was a great opponent, he wasn't, but it wasn't *that* bad in the circumstances... It's also not as if Joshua needs to fix his resume in a hurry - he's already got easily the deepest in the division.

    Don't hold your breath.

Joshua will annihilate Dubois just like he destroyed Ngannou (who mini-iq thought would beat Joshua because of how much Fury struggled).

A lot is made out of Joshua's "careful matchmaking" after losing to Usyk. I don't know if Franklin was ranked with any of the orgs, but top 20 doesn't seem far fetched. Whyte, whom Joshua signed with, was still top 10, I think, Wallin was lower top 10 and Wilder, whom he had agreed to fight before he lost to Parker, was top 5, maybe even, top 3 at the time. Ngannou was unranked, but had given Fury his closest fight since McDermott. And while Fury's shape wasn't great, he easily beat Whyte and Chisora wile not being in very good shape.

So, compared to whom is this careful matchmaking for someone who doesn't hold a title? Who are these other contenders that only are going after top 5 opposition?

Parker faced three low level fighters, worse than both Franklin and Whyte, after Joyce. But props for Wilder and Zhang. Of course, Joshua also agreed to face Wilder.

Zhang has picked up recently after a loooong time of facing nobody of note. But Joyce and Parker were around top 5 when he signed with them, true.

Parker's four opponents after Joyce: Massey, Opelu, Keene and Wilder.

I clearly remember how you were going on about him just fighting sub-par opp for his first three fights after Joyce. Or do I?
