I wouldn't worry about peer pressure. Bowe has the meanness in there to be hell on wheels for Usyk. Something often overlooked is how spiteful and mean Bowe could be in there. To put it mildly, I sure wouldn't count him out vs Usyk.

 

Yeah.. and '90's have it ALL OVER this last decade. Does that sound like an old head? These brash young whippersnappers don't even know what they missed.

 

Given Bowes failure to fight virtually every top fighter of his era outside Holyfield I can't understand people picking him with any confidence over guys with totally different attributes.

Bowe didn't face any big hitters
Any talented southpaws
Any quality opponents bigger than himself

 

I don't want to be tempted into forgetting the chasm between Michael and AJ in raw physicality. Michael's a better boxer in his way, and at light heavyweight he's an even better p4p puncher, perhaps, but for heavyweights? Switching them out is not going to just be about MM being a better boxer. AJ is not a mental giant or a physical wall that can't be torn down, but he's got a practically perfect super heavyweight build. And for a man that size, pretty quick too. This is not a slam dunk for George.

 

And : Did you all see Usyk vs Rico Verhoeven?

That Bowe would have knocked that Usyk clean out. Crossed his eyes again like Rico did.. but could finish it, to say the least. Body shot KO imminent .. no ref saving here. Unless you rank Rico above that Bowe (Holyfield II).. which many people here do.

But I'm a nice guy. Watch emaciated Bowe-Golota to cope.
