Overrated going by his last poor in every department outing. Usyk was supposed to a stepping stone but easily dealt with the bodybuilder. I saw scant evidence the rematch will be any different and I expect Usyk to pick him apart and stop him.
After hearing his interview with Kugan I can see why he was encouraged to use a fake media persona over the years. When he was being his real self he came across as a total moron saying his idols were some gangsters from Harlem in the 1970's LOL ok Anthony. In terms of boxing I think that he is underrated he has some very good wins and his skillset is underrated.
His power is ridiculously overrated, he isn't a one punch KO artist, never has been but listening to some talk you'd think he had Prime Mike Tyson power. He is an good heavyweight in a poor era, that's all, it's not hating, it's just reality.
Historically, he's been overrated, but he's starting to become fairly rated since his losses. Edit: Nah, he's still overrated now that I think about it.
Yeah not gonna lie that was very cringey to watch.. Dude might be a bigger idiot than Wilder he just had better media professionals around to mask it like Eddie where as Al Haymon was not standing next to Wilder.. But as far as boxing he rated properly and I wasn’t a huge fan of his. He unified 3 titles and made an actual effort to setup an undisputed match. Those accomplishments should not be minimized in no fashion. Same for Wilder making 10 title defenses is not an easy accomplishment especially at the HW division. That said for this era I would have to rate Usyk and Fury above those two unless AJ wins the rematch.
