Bakole is very underrated and it would be a very good fight right now versus Joshua.

Would be a huge confidence booster if Joshua won against a dangerous opponent rather than a very poor faded Dillian Whyte who was never really much better than British level.

Remember when the British Forum told us that Joshua would only fight twice this year. It would be great to see Joshua Whyte and Usyk Dubois in August, followed by Zhang Joyce II in September.

Joshua v Whyte, two shot fighters.

Could go either way, and wouldn’t be surprised if Whyte catches him and ending any possible Wilder v Joshua December fight.

The latter part of that post has zero to do with the first (and whilst there was scepticism about Joshua fighting 3 times, I don't remember any particularly strong opinions on it).

Eitherway I agree it's a decent summer for boxing - I'm not enthused for AJ-Whyte as a sporting spectacle but it should be good fun and might go eitherway. Whyte just needs to land a lucky left hook on the ear and it's done. Clearly AJ should be practising uppercuts.

The risk of AJ losing or being injured is present. I don't understand the desire to make AJ vs Whyte II with all the money potentially waiting for AJ in December.

Remember when Eddie told us all 'hes only interested in big fights'?

I think he qualified it later on by confirming he's in it for the big money.

I assume a lot is to do with DAZN wanting two AJ PPVs this year, and I’m sure he’s happy to oblige for the money he’ll get paid.

Good point, I remember that presser now and it's all about money.
I cant wait for the next generation of heavyweights to come through, the sooner this Fury / AJ era comes to an end the better, thankfully we are almost their......and I say this as someone who used to really enjoy watching them both fight. This had the possibility to be an absolute golden period, but the pair of them (and promotors) have blown it. They have provided some good moments but quite frankly it's mind numbing now

If AJ isn’t fighting Dillian then who?

Might be on regular DAZN again instead of PPV if it isn’t sellable.

He cannot be that bothered about avenging that defeat to AJ then can he?

Only a real sucker would fork out more then 2p to watch Joshua v Whyte 2 regardless of whatever narrative is developed for the fight.

These type of fights need a huge backlash from boxing fans together with a boycott.

Good. I can’t believe people pay actual money to watch a plodder like Whyte.
