:happy Give Joshua the credit he deserves for learning on the job and knocking out "Legitimate" competition left and right. Joshua is proving that Eddie Hearn is not protecting his fighters they are protecting themselves and that Joshua is the future cash cow of boxing. Tickets for Joshua vs Dominic Breazeale are already sold out. Whoa!!! British fight fans are the realest and glass heart/jaw Martin made enough to probably quit the sport for good. Give it up for Anthony Joshua, The Second Coming of HW boxing. (Wilder still smashes him though, after he gets through ripping apart Putin Land and that fighter with a baby's body Povetkin)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KI8CADaFiwQ the pumped up weight lifter will be no match for this champion
It's great that we have a young exciting heavyweight that seems to draw fans to him, that in itself will be good for the division. What he does with that popularity is what will now define his career and it's significance. I had hoped for a better opponent than Breazeale but I can forgive an easy first defence. He's at least being active, looks like he could be fighting 4 times this year which is refreshing considering Wlad averaged only 2 fights per year as champion. I really hope they steer him towards Fury it's potentially a huge fight.
I'm not sold on him at all, I highly doubt he'll be the next big thing, he'll be beaten most likely by the first guy with a decent skillset and set of whiskers he gets in with, it might even be ***** Tits Breazeale.
Hearn would pass up that opportunity to outsell himself and stage another Wembley sold out event with Fury vs Joshua. I bet he lays awake at night praying for it.
I like the dude. But let's see how he handles an actual top class HW first before reserving his place in the HOF.
True, Joshua has now reached a point where he is starting to stagnate. Cornish, Whyte, Martin and now Breazeale all are unproven prospects, Joshua needs to step up after Breazeale and face a proven heavyweight contender.
Like martin? I seem to remember you going on non stop about how great Martins skills were, he was too fast, too powerful, too clever with his counters. So you're contradicting yourself there.
He has the potential to be great. I hope he fights someone who has beaten someone else in the top ten soon.
