    Fury
    Usyk
Ruiz rubber (if the man can get in shape)
    Winner of Dubois-Joyce
    Hrgovic
Wilder, if he beats Fury or otherwise wins a series of rebuilders.

If Wilder or Ruiz are not back, the the best contender or contenders available from
Ajagba, Makmudov, Yoko, Dychko, Mezhidov, Nistor, Gassiev, Sirenko, Jalolov, etc.

Joshua is no longer of much interest to be honest. He got obliterated by Ruiz then won the rematch by running. You can't market yourself as a destroyer, get sparked by a cherry pick then redeem yourself by tapping and running in the rematch then expect to remain a serious player in the division. Who's to say any one of those guys wouldn't beat him? And I doubt anyone would care too much if/when they did.

Why not? Tons of "greats" have won fights by running. Why is it worse when a guy that actually goes out there to KO people wins one fight by running.

Before I take a look my picks are

Fury , Hrgovic, Usyk , Joyce, DDD and Miller for entertainment purposes if he’s still undefeated.

I left out Wilder you cannot force a guy to fight if he doesn’t want it .

As for his future opponents, well his resume is already record setting with gaining unification in just 19 fights his accomplishments are far further then the others .

Edit : He mentioned Ortiz and Kownacki ,he’ll probably take one back ,the ones I mentioned he gets far more recognition for ,Ortiz has no relevance in 5 years .

A big difference to in his mindset he says his biggest critic is himself while Wilder sees there’s no need to improve there’s the difference in telling who would win that fight.

People said the same thing when Lewis lost he was bum of the year everyday even after he avenged the loss . Only his Tyson win saved his reputation really . You guys would have slaughtered him if internet was around back in the 90’s .

Cos it's not his bag. He got away with it against an undertrained Ruiz but it wasn't convincing, he looked awkward.

True, but Joshua aint Lewis. Lewis avenged his losses way more convincingly than Joshua and Lewis' Tyson win didn't count for much in the scheme of things as Tyson was a sitting duck. Finished mentally, on drugs and fighting on nothing more than fake confidence from hangers on. Lewis' win over Tyson meant little more than Williams' and McBride's. Bizarrely that empty win appears to have defined Lewis' career.

AJ isn’t Lewis he lost to a much better fighter , Lewis lost to an inferior fighter then AJ did and didn’t take an immediate rematch either so your right , AJ avenged his loss right away and didn’t need to seek the best trainer like Manny Steward in another loss to McCall.he stayed with the same guy which is rare in boxing .

If you were around you couldn’t rewrite history back in the 90’s , most thought Tyson would win myself included ,to say the win isn’t much is exactly that rewriting history. Sure you can say things now but without that win Lewis was treated as second fiddle.

Yes but the reality is Tyson was shot to ****. We all know this, the fight shows it and subsequent fights show it. The hype around Tyson was testament to just how good he once was - even when he was shot he was the favourite.

I think the passion was gone, I think even prime Tyson struggles against pretty much any version of Lewis

Well that's a matter of opinion, watch round one of the Lewis fight, Mike just fighting on memory and instinct came out looking half decent, had Lewis backing up and flailing like a typical Tyson victim, then for some reason he just gave up trying and let Lewis hit him for the rest of the fight.

Interestingly it still took Lewis 8 rounds to beat a virtually stationary Tyson. It is so clear to me that a young, fresh Tyson would have knocked Lews out pretty early but that's just my opinion.
