So Parker was the aggressor? Interesting. I guess that makes sense, because Wilder doesn't throw a lot of punches, doesn't work behind the jab, has no work rate. His whole gameplan is just to, I guess, disengage and keep rounds low output then try to land a surprise shot out of nowhere, like a straight right. But the problem is, his legs are gone, he doesn't have good footwork, so that gameplan doesn't work. Wilder also would naturally be more gunshy after the 2nd and 3rd Fury fights when his face swelled up. He never felt that before and surely wouldn't want to do anything to make that happen again. I'm guessing Parker didn't give him the kind of facial beating Fury did. Sounds like a very cautious and gunshy Wilder just refused to engage and just ran away the whole fight. Crazy to think that's what's become of Wilder from what he was pre-Fury.
