I think he (and other Olympic champs) deserves what he's got. If it's true he has a deal roughly 1.5m over 3 years (500k per year) then I think that's reasonable. I think the financial rewards should match the prestige of winning Olympic gold. It's not as if it's easy, otherwise we'd all be Olympic champs right now.

I still think you should get an appropriate financial reward for winning Olympic gold. I also think the medals should be deserved by being won fairly but that's another matter.
Most brits refuse to aklowedge that Joshua was gifted gold in the olympics. Brits aren't exactly the most objective boxing fans....
