there is a very long list of high profile boxers that have gone out on there own over the years thinking they know better and it all ends badly , the only high profile one that has succeeded is mayweather to my knowledge . i think back to some UK fighters over the years , bugner , conteh , hamed , they all ditched people from there corners and management teams and it all ends badly pretty quickly , the AJ situation will be no different , he would be a very silly boy if he went through with this .
Think someone posted on here his initial contract was £9k a fight, not sure if that's the case now though
Eddie has been tuttored by his Dad.I am certain there are protections in the contract that allows Matchroom to extend the length of the contract so I am quite certain that AJ may have problems if he decided to go for greener pastures(Haymon) before his end of the deal is completed.
Eddies got such a big ego he won't believe his pal AJ would leave him after all the work he's put in to building him up but it's 100% going to happen.
I highly doubt that, Amir Khan only picked up a silver medal and was fighting at 135 and was a millionaire within 1-2 years after turning pro.
