you honestly support him because he was black?? Man, does that sound ****ed up to anyone else? Imagine ole whitey saying he supports a certain boxer (over his black opponent) because he's white! He'd get called a racist, no doubt.

    Is it really 2012?:huh

I thought he was actually further behind than 3 points.
He lost the first round. He lost the second round by an even wider margin I reckon.
I thought he should have been 5 or 6 points down going into final round, if I'm honest.

I would def agree that overall the quality of fighters in this olympics was average at best.

Could have sworn this was the BRITISH part of the forums. No one gives Joshua credit for anything on here.

Was only 3 ****ing centimetres less than the last Olympic winner.

And four of the winning distances before that were Carl Lewis' magic-sauce fuelled efforts!

    :-(

Why do people feel the need to post something like that? We get it, you don't agree with his point. But there's absolutely no need to react with that. It's pathetic people getting so het up by a boxing debate.

What a talent he is, only 18 years old for ****s sake! I'd love to defect and turn pro sometime, maybe after the Rio Olympics.

I thought he won all his fights. Tremendous achievement to win the Gold and he fought and beat Top, Top competition all the way through.

He's still very raw but with the right trainer could and should make an excellent Pro. No rush though.

Very powerful, solid jab and overall Power. Needs to get a better defense and some head movement.

The fights with Savon and Cammarelle were close but to call them robberies is OTT. He beat the highly rated Dychko and Zhang more convincingly.

Also, seems to be a nice guy and respectful - I wish him all the best for the future.

The judges pressed the button every time the crowd cheered for Joshua.
