If Joshua had fought Ortiz it would have given us a better idea of how this would go. Right now, I have little confidence in Joshua beating an elite fighter because of his weak mentality (Ruiz and Usyk shattered his confidence). On paper you'd still have to favor Joshua. He has a way better resume with better experience. Plus that uppercut would be absolutely devastating if it landed on Zheng. I don't imagine the flabby 40 year old Zheng would last long getting blasted by body shots either.
So being fat makes you more powerful? Than Jarrell Miller must be the most powerful heavyweight boxing right now.
Being fat makes you more powerful up until a saturation point where it begins to significantly decrease speed of punches. Force (a large part of the power of a punch) is speed x mass.
Lol yeah because if you put on a lot of weight it makes you more skilled. I didn't know that is how boxing worked, probably because that isn't how boxing works. Zhang is sloppy out of shape and he isn't more skilled. Beating slow Joe Joyce doesn't make you skilled.
He’s gained some muscle too, not just fat. His arms are bigger than before and yes, that will help with his power. Also, those love handles allowed him to absorb a number of body shots from Joyce.
That big ass Shaolin powered Southpaw makes you uncomfy doesn’t he? So now your boy has TWO serious HW southpaws after him. Spare Tire Tyson’s days are numbered.
