So now Mr. 80 will you accept that Joshua has shown more willing to step up and test himself in a far shorter career than your boy Deontay?

No not at all, Deontay was ready and willing to face the dreaded Povetkin, but Sasha ****ed it up. AJ (or should I say Hearn) is making a shrewd business decision, its a 50/50 gamble, if he KO's Wlad he looks every bit the beast everyone says he is, if he loses, oh it was too soon. And iI'm sure it has nothing to do with Wlad looking incredibly vulnerable in his last two matches does it?

It's 50/50 now is it? That's interesting. Earlier in this thread he definitely wasn't ready by your estimation.

Wilder is years deeper into his career and still hasn't had a fight against anyone of note despite lots of top fighters being keen to fight him and yet you praise him whilst condemning AJ? GTOH.

All you Wilder joyboys crack me up with your he was willing to fight Povetkin BS. The best we can say about him after all this time is he once agreed to fight a mando after a very long wait. ****ing great.

You're making a fool of yourself here mate. Give some credit where it's due.

In their minds maybe, but not in mine. Trust me Wilder would be more than willing to risk his 0 for all the dough AJ is raking in for this too, I have a hard time believing anyone would turn down that much money.

Wilder could have earned that sort of money against Wlad had he decided to properly build a profile and a fan base by taking some chances to prove himself. He didn't, taking the path of least resistance the whole and now he's paying for that.

That and he could have earned a career high payday against Wlad at any point - especially post winning his title - but chose to pursue the weakest opponents he could get away with instead.

I can't keep saying it, it's utterly ridiculous to try and pump up Wilder whilst simultaneously trying to trash Joshua. It makes you look like a hypocritical fool.

Wilder is very good at talking but something is wrong there... He claims he is chasing the big fights but I see no evidence and no rumours

He seems happy in America getting paid ok money for easy fights

I think he is better than that but when he steps up to fight AJ it will be a step too far too soon

Whereas AJ would have already fought a Klitchko and maybe a Parker... Oh and a "King Pin" Johnson (just kidding)

    Sort it would Wilder!

    Not signed though is it.

Lets be real here. Wilders cojones were a lot bigger for going to Moscow to take on Povetkin who has been looking like a savage since his loss to Wlad.
AJ is taking on fragile glass chinner coming off a loss. :azote:

The above post perfectly encapsulates what a nutjob you are.

That 'fragile glass chinner' tooled Povetkin in his back yard not too long back.

Wilder never actually made it to Moscow either did he? And that was after a long, long wait and losing te purse bid to his mandatory challenger's promoter. It wasn't a decision made on bravery or a desire to test himself.

Keep on making a fool of yourself.

Povetkin would destroy Wlad under normal circumstances. He had no boxing skill at all to deal with Povetkin.

Wilder Pov will happen next year. I wouldn't be surprised to see Wilder out box Povetkin in a clean and decisive manner. Something Wlad wasn't able to do.:icon_tfno:

Wilder might well destroy this older version of Povetkin or any other version of Povetkin that has ever existed. We don't know.

We do know that him and his team haven't wanted a hard fight previously and that Povetkin looks a lot more attractive a proposition now than previously when compared to certain other contenders.

Should he beat Povetkin that'll be a good scalp but won't go as far as it would have had it would have if he fought someone of that standing earlier. To silence his critics it needs to be all big names from here.

Was Glazkov given the opportunity to fight Wilder? He seems like a Wilder opponent and what's with the Jennings accusation? From what I remember Jennings seemed super keen to get Deontay in the ring.

Does anyone recall any negotiations being attempted or serious call outs from Deontay to these two? I may have missed them.
