Hiya mate, great to here from you. I haven't spoken to you in ages. I'm great thanks, hope you are too. With regards to Bob, I grew up listening to him. My Dad's a huge fan. He first heard him in 1964 and he was hooked. When I was born, he wanted to call me Dylan. But my Mum wouldn't allow it. But she told him it could be my middle name. So just for a joke, my Dad asked if they could call me Robert instead, and she agreed straight away. Ha! So I'm officially called Robert Dylan. Nobody has ever called me Bob though. Regarding my favourite albums, I love just about every one he's ever made, including his 80's ones that were heavily criticised at the time. I think the only one that I never listened too that much, was probably Under The Red Sky from 1990. When I listen to him, I listen to specific parts of his career, before going on to another part. I've never had a favourite song either. Because there's just too many of them. But I've been told that when I was young, I used to sing Mr. Tambourine Man behind the settee and charge family members to listen to me. Ha! I can assure you, I can't sing for sh*t, so god knows what I sounded like. When I was about 8, my Dad used to have a racing greyhound that he took around Yorkshire and the surrounding counties. And he gave the dog different names. He used names like 'The Freewheelin" and Mr. Bojangles" I've seen him either 22 or 23 times in concert, but not for a while now. One of the highlights of my life, is when I went to see him in Cardiff in 2004. I was right at the barrier, directly in front of his keyboard (he'd stopped playing the guitar at that point) and I swear I was only about 7ft away from him. It was incredible. I could almost touch him. I can't remember whether or not I told you that my username on here, is based on another of my favourite musicians, Loudon Wainwright? I love all types of music, but folk has always been my favourite genre. Great to hear from you again mate. :good
I'm OK thanks. Forum's getting even worse - a new group of clowns has just joined the circus: The Deonturds. atsch My mate just give me his PC so I have two now and I think his one is better than mine so that put me in a good mood. lol Cool. There are quite a lot of kids born from parents of that generation who are named after him, kids and rabbits lol. Yeah he's penned an awful lot of good ones. There are quite a few albums of his I haven't heard though, most of which would be from the 80s up to now. I have most of his classics from the 60s and a few from the 70s too. I like a lot of his songs too so it's hard to pick a favourite, but Spanish Boots of Spanish Leather is one that I've always really loved. That album (The Times They Are a-Changin') is definitely one of my favourites of his. I really like the mood of it. I also love his duet with Johnny Cash (who I'm also a big fan of) on Girl of the North Country. There are so many more though. lol Mr. Bojangles is a much better name for a dog than The FreeWheelin'. I'm sure you'd some strange looks shouting the later out. That said, there was a guy who lived near me who owned a shaggy black dog named Blackie. lol atsch Wow you weren't exagerating when you said you were a huge fan of his lol. You must have a lot great memories to reminisce upon. I haven't seen him live but he either bought a house in my area or he was very close to doing so. He used to eat and drink in a local bar and restaurant there. He also recorded some stuff in a studio belonging to Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics there too. There's actually a mural on the outer side of one of the bar/diners he used to go in that features him. Apparently he pulled the ''Do you know who I am?'' line in there one time and they decided to poke fun at him by including him saying it in the painting. Here's a pic of it. http://imgur.com/GzFcK9f I can't remember if you did or didn't either. That said I know it crossed my mind when I first noticed you on here. I haven't heard much of his stuff to be honest sans a couple of his tunes. I'm sure I recall liking one I did hear one time though. I'll check out some of his work on Youtube. Yes I like me some folk too. You too. :good

Looks nice. I actually got a strong urge to eat a hamburger the other day. I have no idea how long it's been since I last had one. It's probably about five years or something.
Go with it Serge listen to what your body is telling you. And its telling you... "I want burgers.":burger
I will do soon. BTW, where's the dog face emoticon I requested on the Suggestions and Requests forum? I want it and some of the others I asked for. So far I haven't seen any added I requested and I only asked for a few. Are they actually going to add any more of them or do we have to make do with the boring old ones we've had since the dinosaurs roamed the Earth?
It looks we're stuck with the same old same old unless IB threatens to quit again to get the admins attention.
Damn right, they tried by changing it tp ppp but for some reason it still doesn't work.pp See. I want my ****** so much I feel :noclue someone
Serge, Ha! I've seen them. I don't mind Deontay, but I think he's going to get exposed very soon. Ha! :good The Magic Roundabout. Ha! He's made some amazing albums. 'The Times They Are a-Changin' has to be one of his best ones. How did he write those songs at just 22? Spanish Boots is amazing, and I've heard him do it live. I also like the duet he did with Johnny Cash, and I like Johnny Cash, but I've never been a huge fan of his. What have you got from the 70's? The great thing about Bob, is that every album is completely different. The 70's was a very interesting time. He went through a lot of things in that decade, and Blood On The Tracks, Desire and Street Legal are all fantastic albums. Ha! He was also called Mr. Tambourine Man. He was a good dog too. He was a wide runner. He always won out of trap 6. But back home he was called Tammy. That was his family name. When I moved in with my girlfriend about 18 months ago, we got two kittens from one of our best friends. He told us that they were sisters, and he'd prefer it if we took both of them, because he said they were inseparable. So we agreed no problem. We gave them two names straight away, and we fell in love them. We're both animal lovers. But after a check up at the vets about a week later, we were informed that they were without doubt brothers and not sisters. We were both shocked, but we laughed and didn't care. So we got home, and I said "Well, the first thing we've got to do, is give them both new names. And the fairest thing to do, is to have a pick each like last time. I'll go first, I've got a name in mind already" To which my partner replied "I know exactly what you're thinking, and I'm telling you straight, there's no way we're calling one of them Roy!" "Hang on!" I replied, but she interrupted and said "Hang on nothing! There's no f*cking way I'm shouting Roy out of the window when I want them to come in for their tea. You've no chance!" Ha! So we've called them Charlie and Max. Thanks for the pic. I've heard about it before, but I've honestly never seen it. Is that in Crouch End? I know he's been a friend of Dave's for a while though, and that he's spent a lot of time in London, especially in the 90's. He made a song in 1993 called 'Blood In My Eyes' and the video for it was shot around Camden, and Dave produced it. Also, when he collaborated with Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, Jeff Lynne and George Harrison, (The Travelling Willbury's) the album was recorded in Dave's house in Los Angeles. If you have some free time, check him out mate. Along with Bob, he's my favourite artist. He's wrote songs that any man, woman or child can relate too. His songs have covered every subject imaginable. They're funny, stupid, heartbreaking, honest and happy. I can't wait to see him again. From reading your conversations with MindReader, I know that you like listening to music on YouTube. So I'll leave you two songs of his to listen to when you have some spare time. Let me know what you think: http://youtu.be/q7uyxp9pJdc http://youtu.be/AakAF0su100 Also, if you've got anything to recommend, let me know. Along with boxing, music is my biggest passion. Great to talk with you again. :good
Five years? Wow! I honestly couldn't go five weeks without one. Probably not even three weeks. Good for you though. :good
