For his size, 11.5 is really fast...that is legit NFL speed, and we are talking about a guy who competes in one of the few sports that doesn't require any sprinting.

He must have had a lot of fast twitch muscle which explains his hand speed and power.

Pretty much that. He didn't really have the physique of some of the monster heavyweights but Sanders was more about speed and timing with the premise that speed generated power. Check out his "younger days" videos ... he was a very mobile guy and an excellent boxer.

Joshua is around the same height as Usain Bolt, give or take a inch or so but he built more like a 6'6" version of Ben Johnson.

Nope. No chance, not even a hope he shaves nearly 2 seconds off that. Maybe does it in 11 ! If he dropped weight and trained for it with venom

Lol he ran 11.6 is absolutely appalling conditions!!!!

If he had good conditions he would easily run sub 11 with no training whatsoever, dedicated training and I think low 10s is a definite possiblity, he's a natural sprinter built for it

The guy is an athlete. I think if he dropped some bulk he would improve even more.

Nowhere to be seen in the 800m though

    Gassed? Eek.

Word on the street is he collapsed after 200m, took an 8 count, strolled the next 500m, but boy did he go like the wind in the last 50m to record a personal best.

you don't know how much of a difference a second makes in a 100 metres. What you reckon Eubank jr could do it in anyway ??
