He certainly showed this speed while running away from a barely 6ft tall obese fighter.

Shame he can't box as well as he can run. Just a bad career choice maybe.

James J Jeffries could supposedly run 100 yards in just over 10 seconds. I think 100 yards was the standard back in those days, as opposed to 100 meters.

Somewhat Ironic in this particular context, first and foremost, you need a decent set of Linford's to fight.....

I'm pleased posts like this get bumped so that when those still nut hugging get butt hurt about people like me who root to see him lose, we can remind everyone about the sickly idolising we had to witness for years where Joshua was described as the greatest ever and some sort of iconic personality.

It seems nobody bought into this hype more than AJ himself and now he's been found out as something other than this and he can't muster up wise anecdotes he's just had a mental break down.

NFL if he'd been born in the States.

No major UK sport fits his athletic profile - maybe the 400m relay if he learned to drop the baton...

I know a former lifter who was a British school boy sprinter that used to run the 100m 10.45 aged 15 or 16

He switched to powerlifting and despite gaining roughly 20kg bodyweight and rarely doing any Fitness, or speed training outside the weights, he was still able to run 100m in 11.5 seconds

The dudes box jump was around 60inches also

Some great athletes out there and many we will never have heard of

Corrie Sanders did an 11.3 so if he was a gym rat like Femi he'd leave him like a dot on the horizon.

I ran 200 metres just under 23 seconds for my school and represented my local county, but i had no passion for it and quit
