Anthony Joshua should have Teofimo Lopez Sr. in his corner

Anatoly Lomachenko will be training Usyk to dissect Joshua in the ring. This might be the worst possible scenario for Joshua. Anatoly is an absolutely genius trainer and likely knows about Aj's stiffness, subpar gas tank, and limited boxing ability and i have no doubt that he'll know how to expose those weaknesses. The bodybuilder won't be able to handle to gap in iq between him and Usyk.

There's only one man who can train Joshua on how to handle Usyk and thats Teofimo Lopez Sr. He trained his son to shut down Vasily Lomachenko's offense and we know Lopez and Joshua share a few similar stylistical traits

If Joshua can't get his hands on Lopez Sr. then the only other way he can win is by a british stoppage where Aj lands 2 clean hits in round 10 and gets awarded the victory

I think Lomas father was absent for the Lopez camp and fight so it wouldnt make a difference.

You're overselling Anatoly Lomachenko and underselling Joshua, with the power he's got his boxing abilities are more than enough .

Anatoly's game plan won't change much, it'll be the same feel the opponent for two rounds, look for openings to counter , note their defense patterns to accurately mount their own offense and such.

Having Lopez sr. in the corner won't change too many things because Usyk is better at probing than Lomachenko however he's more hittable too, more so in the early rounds, plus he doesn't overly rely on getting the angle to his right like Lomachenko for which Lopez executed his game plan.

Bring in Lopez Sr would be a ridiculous distraction, but I think you're right that AJ should study that fight.

If he can't get the KO, he'll need a way to put Usyk on the defensive without draining his gas tank.

It's not really a difficult strategy for AJ. Move forward, jab and punch with Usyk. Don't over commit, just make Usyk aware that when he throws, bomb will be unleashed. This might keep Usyk's fist holstered. I personally don't think has the movement to keep Usyk in range. Unless AJ does something different, I can't see AJ pulling this off.

Can Usyk get past AJ's jab

AJ's punching patterns are terribly predictable.

    Usyk should be ok

Just trying to overcome the size difference.

If AJ was the heavyweight he's cracked up to be this is an easy night.

Should totally ignore Usyk's fients, just ram rod him.

AJ has neglected the jib jab technique for most of his career. Forced against Ruiz to use it. Looked terrible in the process. Confident behind the jab all night long. Fury Chisora. Don't even put anything behind it, hits hard enough it will still put Usyk back.

Papachenko already have a plan how to dismantle AJ. Let's see if Usyk can accomplish that plan

Against AJ all you have to do is hit him on the point of the chin unsighted.

Did it once against bull forward Chisora, don't have much confidence.

The way Usyk has always fought doesn't mesh well with someone like AJ

Thing with AJ is I always end up laughing on the floor at how bad he makes himself look during a fight.

There are only two times I was fairly impressed and maybe even rooted for him

    Early rounds against Wlad
His Silver medal in the olympics.

Maybe he can finally pull somewhat of a consummate performance out? Even if he does people will just say Usyk is over the hill and too small which to a degree is true.
