I completely disagree. Watch the entire round, that's what the referee will have been doing and the fact is that he'd been put down twice, had received a large number of flush power shots and was reeling around the ring on rubber legs. The referee is there to protect the fighter, not just from the other guy but also from themselves. Wlad had no way back from that point, the only outcome at that stage would have been Wlad on the floor semi or totally unconscious and serious lasting damage could have occurred. The final flurry on the ropes which led to the stoppage was pretty telling. He was trapped with no route out as his legs had failed him and those shots while not landing flush were ragdolling him and still doing plenty of damage, how can a referee who's job it is to protect the fighters let that beating continue?

 

I rather thought he could, i seem to remember him getting off the canvas.

I am a parker fan...not a Joshua fan I don't love him and I don't hate him.. but some of the Joshua haters on here are hilarious.. he could knock out wilder and fury on the same night and they would still bash him .

 

joshua knocked him over 3 times and stopped him out on his feet. just so you know. so he didnt take joshuas bets shots well at all.
