Was listening to 909 and it sounds as if Anthony Joshua has signed for GBP alongside Ogogo. Good move?

Apparently so. Guess he's bypassing WSB.

Joshua needs a top coach pronto, i think staying with Froch's trainer would be a good move.

The black version of Helenius. He could go far if he's managed well and has plenty of time improve. Is there any actual links to this?

    He should turn pro.

You can't get bigger than wining an OLYMPIC GOLD IN YOUR HOME COUNTRY!

It doesn't get bigger than that...

He's still a relative novice in the amateur ranks to be honest. As much as I'd like to see him in a pro ring, I'm happy he's staying amateur until November at least. Let him garner the extra experience of fighting in the World's again. Only this time more prepared and ready to go one better. He's still only had about 40 amateur bouts and only been boxing for about 5 years in total. Only just turned 23 too, plenty of time.

Personally, I hope he stays amateur for the World's and then joins the WSB for a season (if it's November to May again next year, and as long as it definitely isn't going on a pro record). He still has a lot of flaws to iron out, mainly one's that stem from him just being still inexperienced and a novice, and he could do with fixing them in the amateurs before getting in a pro ring. Hopefully they can get him out sparring around the world with top heavies whilst he's still an amateur, that would be good.
