    Meh.

I like him. I think he has talent. But the only tough fight he has been in the Whyte fight, and it demonstrated that he has a long way to go. His corner admitted as much, saying that he would need another year and a half before he was ready for Fury.

Good luck to him, but no, he hasn't silenced anyone yet.

    Very true.

Also I read an interview the other day in which he said Fury and the red of the elite want him now as he's still learning. But in 10 fights time he will be ready to fight that level of competition and win. Or words to that nature.

What gets me is he is fighting for a world title next. How does he expect to keep learning if he's not intending on fighting g the top guys for another 10 fights?

Trying to pull a Wilder looks like. Only the IBF actually forces their mandatories, which would make that pretty hard to copy if he actually beats Martin.

That's what sprung to mind straight away. If Joshua wins I can see him becoming the UK Wilder.

He's silenced everyone in that no one is talking about him.

I suppose he shut up the few people who thought Dillian Whyte would beat him.
    But that's it.
Most of the "doubters" are waiting for him to fight a recognized top heavyweight, and Charles Martin probably doesn't fit that description yet either, (despite somehow holding the IBF title).

I'd say he has managed to increase the amount of critics, not silencing them.

Considering he hasn't fought anyone above British level yet the hype in the media is pathetic in wanting Joshua to succeed.

Especially when we have the true heavyweight champion of the world in the Furious one, who's beaten an ATG heavyweight yet he's hardly had any good press.

Yet the sun was calling Anthony Joshua, the nicest man in boxing...

They will follow the Brook template for the rest of the year- Takam up next I'd imagine. It's a shame as he is still learning and really needs more than two/three fights a year.

  11. If he was white and a ****phobe like Fury he'd be loved on these forums. Because he is black and just gets on with it, he's hated. Simple as that.

No not really I have said Canelo will destroy Khan haven't I

  15. You either have to think Khan is potentially the greatest there has ever been as Terry does, or you're a disgusting racist.
