So what he’s saying is, a guaranteed $50 Million is not enough for him to fight Wilder. Actually we knew this already.

If this whole mess with it's infinite number of moving parts and variables and egos and personalities doesn't work out exactly, precisely as you see it in your little pea brain, you're going to be ridiculed on a level of irony you likely won't be aware of...so...I guess you won't care...lol...:loel: ahahahahaha...i kill me...:meparto:

Joshua tried to make the fight, but Wilder chickened out and refused to sign the contract (which would have given him by far the biggest payday of his career).

Of course he's right as it being a cashgrab, because Fury obviously isn't ready yet, while everyone involved knows. But at this time Joshua should keep his mouth shut, because he is at least partly to blame for it.

Wilder is taking the fight because he’s only brave enough to fight boxers with issues (mental health, heart, substance abuse etc). It’s a joke fight

I'm sure he would of been slated had he vacated rather than face Povetkin who even now would be either the best of second best name on Wilder's resume without question.

The Povetkin fight is decent. Following it up with a Whyte/Breazeale rematch isn't. Nor is a Miller fight and I'll say both are pretty poor match ups should they get made when a Fury/Wilder fight is make-able.

The problem with Fury is even if he wins vs. Wilder, there is a risk he will vacate the belt afterwards because he has what he wanted. Another $5 million -- which in his case last him another 2-3 years like last time. His low IQ doesn't allow him to apply any long-term thinking.

this "Wilder ducked or AJ ducked" is so boring, only fanboys think it was only one side that ducked it, when in reality they both did. that isn't up for debate, they both ducked, its that simple

My use of the word interview might have been incorrect, he didn’t sit down on a TV show or anything I don’t think.

I don’t understand why people don’t know how these things work.

They will get pestered by reporters shouting questions at them all the time. The same as any other “celebrity” . How else would these quotes come out? You think he went and found a reporter by himself just to say this crap?

It still amazes me that many of those who live in the land which has had the whole 'Showtime v HBO' conflicts, which have resulted in it being problematic to make specific fights, still do not understand the issue with the '$50,000,000 offer'.

If a Showtime fighter has a $100,000,000 contract.....
But is offered $25,000,000 to fight on HBO.....

Does he take a $75,000,000 loss?

    Of course not.

It was only a few weeks back when Hearn was mocked for offering Broner a DAZN contract which was less than he was getting paid now!

Too many 'Double Standards' on this place.

Like I said, it's all about the money and Wilder felt he deserved more and what Hearn offered him was an insult and proof that he and Joshua didn't really want the fight. Wilder went on and showed them that he can generate a big pay day and now Hearn and Joshua are squawking like a bunch of chickens about a money grab. That's what he was trying to do ( grab all the money and short change Wilder )
