Well the gold medal he has at home would argue with him being 'beaten' twice in the Olympics. They were two very close fights and as with pro boxing if you have a close fight at home, you will win the bout. Future peoples champion isn't that bad because he is a well liked person so in a way he is the peoples champ. Both quality fighters and I believe both will win world titles but Joshua has more chance of dominating in comparison to Campbell.
Did any of those fighters make a big song and dance about their first 10 fights and milk it for all it's worth and make 5 documentaries about how hard their life was before being able to put away 10 hand picked bums?
No, but its all about building his profile. If ITV want to put money in Joshuas pocket and put boxing on a prime time slot, as a boxing fan. That's great news for me. Joshua has achieved enough with his gold medal and 10 fights to warrant a documentary, and he admits himself hes got lots more to achieve. Some people just want to hate.
So how many more documentaries on top of the 5 already made should there be? How much more money should ITV,BBC, Channel 4 sky, box nation , HBO and showtime pump into his pocket for more documentaries after he beats 10 more bums?
DoubleEdge you are the thickest individual on here. Joshua isn't going to ITV and telling them to make a documentary about him is he? They have asked him and at the end of the day he isn't going to say no is he. If they want to make a documentary about him and line his pockets then that's up to him but any boxer would say yes as ultimately they are all in it to make as much money as they possibly can as boxing is a short career.
Oh here we go another Anthoney Joshuaaaaa fanboy who believes butter wouldn't belt on his mouth. You don't know how everything was arranged or who negotiated for the documentary to happen. Hearn may well have contacted these broadcasts to ask for them to air a documentary so his fighter could get more exposure and I'm sure Joshua was all for all it. He's already had one with sky, but the greed for more money didn't deter the humble one to jump at the chance to crow over his small professional career.
I think ITV should commission a documentary on 'double edge, online depressive' be great to get an insight into how matchroom ruined his life, how seeing people succeed makes him so angry he button bashes his keyboard, and how he has a desperate need for online conflict and arguments no matter what the subject, he will push his unresearched, totally bias and negative views. You would of course turn the 50k fee down for the documentary though is you have yet to fulfilled your potential as a forum knowsnowt to ******t such fee and exposure i would hope
That would be great, as I could invite all the boxing 24 members who are all professional boxers and all have previous experience in the media to know the ins and outs of it. I have to admit though, I'm far too humble to turn down an offer of 50k and have loads of camera's following me around as if I'm some diva. I'd have to ask a few more networks for some more documentaries just tor regurgitate my life story all over again. It's better and easier than selling drugs on street corners
Of course Joshua was all for it dummy! Its money in his pocket! Like every boxer they want as much money as possible and quite rightly so, its a short career and a very tough one at that. Just because you want as much money as possible and you say yes when it is offered to you, it doesn't make you not humble. I don't know what he is like in real life away from the cameras, and to be honest I don't really care, I enjoy watching him fight and I enjoy the whole vehicle behind him. Hearn may have requested it but at the end of the day a boxer would not request that and you know it. As for your claim of me being a fanboy, I am not at all. I enjoy watching him fight, he is very entertaining, I don't think that is up for debate really. At the end of the day you make accusations of him being this awful human being but quite frankly you don't know either. He may be horrible, but he may actually be how he is around the media. As long as Britain has good boxers I don't care what they are like when they are out of boxing.
DoubleEdge, I think boxing is the wrong sport for you. You seriously have not got a clue about business and that is what boxing is one big money making business
He had 1 close fight against italy which i thought he got beat but his first against cuba?? Even you cant really think that was close savon did a number on him big time he should have had a 1st round exit at the olympics
