I don't know any people that big. Anyway this is about boxing. Joshua will be fighting other guys who are big so it's about how good his stamina is relative to theirs. Just because someone is muscular doesn't necessarily mean they will have poor stamina. Joshua doesn't even weigh that much for his height and division. Just because he doesn't have much fat on him doesn't necessarily mean he will have bad stamina. Slim/fat/less muscular people can also have bad stamina.

it usually does carrying too much muscle for your body severly drains your stamina, Id say Joshua will even find it hard to lift his arms to throw a punch after 8 hard rounds

name one heavyweight bulit like Joshua who had good stamina

He's not a fluid boxer from what I can see. Does seem to have good thudding power. If he can hold a shot he will make it past euro level even with a lack of stamina.

Isn't Wlad is a similar height and weight.

I don't think he's carrying too much muscle for his body, he just has low body fat so his muscle is more visible.

Wlad is a rare example. Most boxers that size have **** cardio.

Wlad had tons of stamina problems, he worked his ass off on them and chaged his style to a slower pace and now his just about ok

if his the example your using to defend Joshuas stamina then his in a world of trouble

    Price is another example

It's all relative. They will be fighting other guys of a similar size and therefore similar cardio levels. Either that or they will be too small and the size difference will negate the stamina difference.

Not really. Wlad has had a great career and has shown you can be that size and have good stamina even if you don't naturally have good stamina.

Lewis was also a big guy. Tyson had a ton of muscle for his height. Holyfield probably had too much muscle for his body considering he bulked up to HW.

Joshua may or may not have stamina issues for a HW but I don't think you can use his physique to determine that. I don't think he has that much more muscle than other HW's, I think he just has less fat covering it. I'd like to see his measurements compared to other HW's.

Lewis was in good shape but it didnt look like he was carrying 20 extra pounds of extra muscle

Wlad doesnt have good stamina and im a huge fan of his, his got average stamina but his ability to control a fight lately is the reason he doesnt get found out. When he was younger and inexperinced he gassed twice and got beaten and gassed in other fights and barely hanged on

Tyson was a lot smaller than Joshua and infact Tyson admits himself that he had really bad stamina due this his asthma . and holyfield was roided out of his mind so unless Joshua wants to cheat he has nothing to do with this debate

when a guy is carrying about 20 pouns of unnessicary muscle there is a good chance he will have stamina problems

What evidence is there that it's 20 lbs of extra muscle or is that just a rough figure?

Ken Norton was quite muscular and fought at a good pace. He's not as big as AJ but he wasn't small either.

Well appearances can be deceptive. Lewis was similar height and similar weight. He probably had a similar amount of muscle and a bit more fat.

Wlad's stamina is currently fine for a HW. Yes it was bad before but he improved it without shedding a load of muscle.

I think Tyson's weight was made up of a similar % of body muscle considering his height, weight and strength. His stamina was fine as far as I could tell especially considering his asthma and lifestyle.

If you look at his height and weight it doesn't seem like he's carrying an extra 20lbs. Like I said I'd like to see measurements to see if he really is so much more muscular compared to other HW's. Joshua probably won't have the stamina of a LHW but might well have decent enough stamina compared to other HW's.

Joshua is more talented than Bruno, and he'll have a better career.
