I left on a walk before seeing that, wtf, I only saw the classy stuff. I was just saying IRL I was a fan of the guy now, and he does this?

AJ did great but he needs to learn to accept being bettered. What happened to "stay humble"?

    Classic moments in boxing

I was hoping it would be Fury to decimate and give AJ his mental break

Instead a blown up middleweight who can't speak english did it!

fantastic. Why did Eddie Hearn even make this bout.

I actually think that may be the last time we see AJ in the ring. I don’t think he’s going to be able to mentally recover from this. If he wants to keep fighting (and he should really do this anyway, regardless of whether he fights again or not), he needs to address his mental health and sit down with a sports psychologist and a psychiatrist. His team also needs to keep a close watch on him over the next week or so to make sure he doesn’t hurt himself. I have had mental health issues myself and been around a lot of other with these problems, and AJ was clearly exhibiting some alarming behaviors in the immediate aftermath of this fight.

Stole the man's flag and threw his belts out the ring before hogging the mic like some broken down drunk uncle at a wedding. Class act though.

People need to calm down a bit. Ya AJ was cringe af after the fight but everyone who fought knows you're full of adrenaline and sometimes some guys don't deal well with that....

Never seen a meltdown in a ring like it

The mask fell off Mr stay humble and classy then he tried to dig himself out of the hole he dug himself in with the faux over praising of Usyk who I can assure you he's absolutely seething about losing to for the second time, especially now he knows his excuses and lies will have little currency even among his dopey casual fanbase

It may turn out that AJ has worse mental health issues than Fury. The good thing with Fury is that he has at least addressed those issues and worked to overcome them. I don’t know if AJ has done that.

He looked like Ivan Drago grabbing the Soviet bureaucrat’s throat before the final round. Boxing has been lousy with fighters using mental health to get out of fights and training camps, Joshua might actually need some time off to work on his mental well-being.

In general I try not to hold it against fighters immediately after a bout. They are full of adrenaline, concussed and emotionally spent. So I'll give Joshua a pass here although, yes, that was a very bad look.
