Klitschko should look to fight him now

Right now he would beat him and have an ATG on the resume

in 2 years Joshua will win and then everyone will just called Wlad a bum again

I think it's because he holds the INTL belt, but that in itself is a joke.

Learned not to take the rankings seriously a long time ago

It says alot when a fighter can be ranked higher in the world than in his own country. No doubt Junior Hearn is behind this one.

I doubt Hearn is behind this.If anything it limits the type of opponent that AJ can fight to avoid negative press and fans feeling duped by AJ's high ranking fighting so-so opposition.Hearn wants a slow rise to taking on big name fighters-this puts undue pressure on him to deliver bigger named fighters that AJ may not be ready for.

Laughable, based on his resume he shouldn't even be in the top 10.

Do you really believe everything you have just wrote? So AJ beats the mighty Johnson and is suddenly number 2 in the division according to WBC..... Yeah right.

If the ratings mean nothing, why rig them?

Fury isn't ranked by the wbc as he's gone down the wbo route so he's out, after that who's ranked above Joshua? Not saying I think he should effectively be third in the wbc rankings but there's a decent argument he's next best after fury right now

Heavies are so poor and have been for a while nothing surprises me. I still watch some of the fights but been a long time since a heavyweight has got be excited

I read that excuse a lot for high ranking from guys that clearly don't deserve to be there. Like somehow not deserving doesn't count anymore as the ones that do deserve to be there aren't very good.
If the division is weak, aren't top class prospects supposed to run trough the top 50/40/30 guys from the start before they get ranked? If they're that easy then why bother with the guys between #500 to #70? :blood

The Heavyweight division is pretty mediocre to be honest, so i'm not surprised that he is very high up in the rankings. He looks as good as the majority boxers out there.

Decent post and yes Wlad is boring as **** now, and it maybe because he wants to safety first plus give the fans rounds to watch.
