Anthony Joshua borrowed elements of the Andy Ruiz game-plan (that was used against him), for his rematch against Oleksandr Usyk However, Joshua put a slight variation on this blueprint & those added layers sandwiched together forced Usyk to re-start his entries.

Wlad is a bum compared to Foreman. No stamina. Chin not amazing. No inside ability. He is a midget clincher that's his career. Foreman evolved with age, got tougher and adapted to be successfull. Wlad got chinned by mediocre then became a clincher pusher. Which is what AJ should become because that's all he can ever aspire to achieve.

A man who spent half his career clinching people and was still pretty useless at it. Fury manhandled him and showed him how it's done. Showed him how to throw the jab 5 ways also and what a little bit of lateral movement does for you. Then showed him what heart and fighting spirit is in round 12 and Wlad still thinks he won that round when he didn't.

I feel AJ went to the body more, which bothered Usyk. He had a strong round 8 and look to turn it in his favour.
But like the first fight, Usyk stepped it up after that and his stamina and willpower won him the last few rounds so he won it clearly.

Only became past prime because Fury smashed him...Fury beats any version of Wlad. He's lucky he got outboxer Floyd Fury not Kronk Fury.

Are you sure, Mark? It’s just that at no point in the rematch did I think “wow! that looks like Andy Ruiz fighting Usyk in the ring”. Beside what would be the point? Ruiz has never fought Usyk let alone being successful against him.

Agree except Fury didn`t smash Wlad at all, he just fustrated and out-boxed him in a tepid fight.
