anthony joshua v dereck chisora in april how does it go?

Wow, brutal - potentially a good fight for Joshua.... not an official organisation but a fairly likely win will result in a huge inflated rank on Boxrec given Chisora is still 18th. Joshua will end up easy top ten out of this if he wins. It's rewards versus actual risk would be MUCH better than the fight with Whyte.

 

Chisora is like a past prime Whyte. Joshua inside 5.

 

Damn . Chisora should't be going in with AJ. Whyte would be much better. Or rematch Helenius.

 

Chisora needed all 10 rounds to win on points against Nascimento, who was KO'd by Takam, Whyte and Parker.
In that last fight against Fury, Chisora was horrible. The crowd were booing.

He's obviously in it for the money. I give him zero chance against Joshua, or any of the up-and-comers.
Having said that, AJ's matchmakers would realize that they don't want anyone too dangerous for the next couple of fights, so not a bad choice from their end.

I think AJ would use his height and outbox and TKO Chisora in the mid rounds -- but still not a bad test for him. For Chisora IMO this isn't a smart matchup at this point. If he wants to land a better payday I think he should go with guys like Teper or Helenius to up his market value a bit.

Its good cash fight for Chisora, so i'm sure he'll take it next year. Joshua KOs him in 6 rounds.

Chisora doesn't have that many fights left, unless he's broke.

This is easily the most lucrative fight for Chisora. Shame he needed Sauerland management to get it.

The most marketable opponents for Joshua in 2016 are Chisora and Haye. And obviously a matchup with Wilder would be good and Joshua's manager mentioned an interest in fighting the Glazkov/Martin winner.

Good fight though, I like Chisora. He's better than anyone on Wilder's resume.
