Post-fight. Joshua: "It's not fair! I'm eighteen stone! He's only thirteen and a half! I can't throw combinations. It's hard work. Pray for me!" Cooper: "The lad done good. With a bit of practice he could be a professional boxer."
Most of Cooper's stoppage losses were cuts. Always a risk for him. Folley and Patterson knocked him out but they were skillful fighters. He also had a win against Folley. Johansson knocked him out before he hit his prime. Cooper fought every good British heavyweight multiple times over the course of 15 years, pretty much beat them all. Erskine, London, Richardson, Bodell. The loss to Bugner could have gone either way. Joshua fought Dillian Whyte and Daniel Dubois and ancient version of Matt Skelton.
Henry Cooper was one of the first heavyweights I watched and loved when I was knee high to a spit. So, based on that alone ^, I can categorically and logically state, without fear or favour and objectively speaking , any version whatsoever of Henry Cooper smashes any version of AJ. That's just a fact...
Cooper is not beating Joshua lol people once again are jumping on the bandwagon when a fighter is coming off a loss so now Joshua loses to every single notable Heavyweight. Cooper was a Cruiserweight by modern standards and was poleaxed in under 6 rounds by Johansson, Patterson, Folley. I like Cooper and he seemed like a nice fellow but let's have a word with ourselves here....
Cooper was a LHW by modern standards, not even a cruiserweight. Good fighter but Joshua stops him easily. I can't believe how insane some of the posters here are.
Joshua's extra weight just makes him gas out. "Eighteen stone, bruv", "No gas tank, bruv", "I wish I was Rocky Marciano"
