Can any of you give me a rough time line for the programme the night of the AJ/KJ fight. I'm going to the Chels Man City game that evening. It will be over at 7:30. Will I be ok to get over to the O2 in a reasonable time? Say if I was there for 9 would that do me? Thanks Lads.
Should be fine. If i were you i would leave the match 5 mins early (depending on the score) to beat the crowd. I would guess the Joshua fight will begin at around 10'ish but i dont see it lasting 9 minutes anyway.
Should be fine the underground service is great so as long as you know before hand how to get to the 02 you should be fine for 9:good
Sound darn, I'm fairly ok with the tube, thinking about Fulham Broadway to Westminster then hopping on the jubilee to Greenwich... Only wobble is the game crowd piling into the train at fb... At that hour of the evening maybe a leg to get a taxi to Westminster might be quicker than queuing for the train after the game.
In the last fight with Sprott Joshua looked amazing but a british stoppage ended it prematurely. It's the fight with Bakhtov that impressed me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-m0ZCosvNRU Bakhtov is a dude known for going the distance and Joshua tore his face up. Hopefully KJ's team has vetted the ref. That said I expect a TKO stoppage at some point in the fight, possibly early. The durability that KJ has shown in the past tends to diminish after enough beatdowns.
Wouldnt say it was a gay stoppage, sprott has no business being in a boxing ring, nevermind taking punches from a huge specimen like joshua. it was a b.ull**** fight that shouldnt of happened. sick of up and comers having to fight 40-50yr british bums 10 years out of date.
I think he has been matched perfectly. Want him by the end of the year in with a Chisora or Helenius type. The heavyweight division is so thin he shouldnt rise to the top too quick and be exposed. People forget he had a short amateur career and needs to learn the pro game. My only concern is with Sims. These are key formative years and would far prefer him training with someone like the Dark Lord. Johnson has been given a lot of notice but he is happy being a journeyman stepping stone. He will frustrate and it will be interesting to see how Josh reacts in the later rounds. Late Stoppage for me.
Sorry did you say step UP? AJ would have Audley out in under 60 seconds. Hardly a step up. I tell you what though, say all you want about Audley, but that man could sell sand to the Arabs.
